this is a perfect example that really cool cards can be hiding in packs or boxes for years and then finally see the light of day. The same thing happened to me only it was with 21-22 products that I bought a few boxes of at my LCS. For me, however, it was like literally hitting the lottery because from a box of metal universe. I hit a Crosby PMG green and from a box of SPX I hit a Nathan McKinnon obsidian patch gold spectrum 1/5 and it’s four colors. The only time when this really kind of screws people over is when somebody hits a ridiculous redemption that is long past expired. since this year‘s products are pretty cheap I am thinking about diving back in and getting an entire case of something from that year, possibly either more SPX or more metal universe just because of the potential and just for the fun of it.
