Damn, and here I'm thinking that I henchmened vanquished all 3 campaigns and feeling 💪 Then watching a Mesmer solo everything makes me feel weak. Rotwing gave me a hell of a time. I can only imagine what you went through.
Vanquishing with henchmen is definitely not an easy task, you should not underestimate your success! As solo, at least AoE were not worse than single target damage 😅 What profession did you use btw? Rotscale was definitely hard, there is the complete video on my RU-vid as well :)
@@Nao-ti3rp Ele, did all 3 in succession after Nightfall was released. I kind of cheated in a way as I used TextMod to highlight areas not mapped and squeezed and extra few % points glitching through gates in Cantha 🫣.
great work! I really like the effort for soloing the entire game, and you have inspired me to start my own journey. I've started as a Ritualist and am currently stuck on Vizunah Square, Togo keeps dying at the second place. So i've watched the VOD of shade_the aka Joseph Spivey to see how he deals with it. But he skips the first missions until borea with the door glitch. Is that allowed, or should i do all missions in order? And do you have any tips on how I can keep him alive?
Hi Kylar, thanks a lot! Very happy to see you got inspired, hope you're gonna have a lot of fun! All solo ironman so far either did Vizunah with henches (that's what I did as Mes and War) or skipped it and went immediately to Boreas (that's what I did as Paragon). We (Serial) only found recently a way to complete Vizunah solo. But for this, you start from foreign quarter, which you can't do as solo Rit (I think). As far as I know, nobody ever succeeded doing Vizunah solo starting from local quarter. So I'd say just skip it or do it the normal way with henches. And if you really want, get back to it later. Btw rules are not fixed, it's up to you to define them! If you think allowing something is fine/avoid frustration, just allow it :)

@@Kylar_swtor I went through Echovald. However nobody ever succeeded The Eternal Grove afaik. Pretty sure it's possible but you need to be lucky to get as many luxon allies as possible. I tried a few times with my usual PI mesmer build and once with a Me/Rt SoS build and the further I got with my first build seemed easy to reach with SoS. So as SoS Rit you could stand a chance
I remember back in the day soloing all of Prophecies because I was bored, and now I feel like I want to do this again: but, from zero, new account, and legendary survivor. I agree to the challenge of using no PvE only skills. As soon as ANet split PvP and PvE in Nightfall, that's when the game started to die. If ANet takes their old game and gives it a few game modes, like death = delete or ironman (and the ability to play the character normally after completing the challenge mode), I bet you many players will come back. Many of the "new" games today are not as good as the oldies. Better to give them some polish and revive them with some form of monetization strategy to keep them alive. I'd pay for that
Don't know about the second part of your message (people often debate about that on gw reddit) but you should definitely start a run again if it's appealing :) Serial Experiments managed to beat Prophecies as solo ironman without dying (as Monk) and I think he is the only one so far. I personnally am superbad at not dying because my playstyle is very agressive and greedy most of the time

Thanks! Rit should at least be able to finish the campaigns I think. Keep in mind that SoS will not be available early though (if you plan to organise your strategy around SoS). Anyway, playing solo is so fun and teach you so much things, I highly recommand it!

Monstrueux, au delà du fait que le défi à l'air incroyable dur, c'est surtout ta patience et ta détermination qui m'impressionne. Je suis curieux de connaitre les drops que t'as pu avoir pendant tes runs, doit y avoir quelques pépites même si je doute que tu ai ramassé quoi que ce soit vu la perte de temps, sans compter que t'as pas unlock le coffre..
Merci ! Mon meilleur drop est un bouclier céleste OS q8 tactique double bonus qui vaut sûrement pas mal, mais je l'ai chopé en NM. La plupart du temps mon inventaire est saturé donc je ne garde que très peu d'objets par zone. Mais bon, sur ce perso, avec tout ce que j'ai déjà ramassé, j'ai pu acheter mes gants du chaos, et j'ai encore environ 130 ectos + 500 crochos achetés aux marchands, sans compter les 300k que j'ai dépensés rien qu'en sceaux de capture, donc il ne fait aucun doute que l'argent monte relativement vite :)

Incroyable exploit! felicitation ça donne envie de se donner à fond sur le jeux. Dis voir, quelles runes as tu utilisés sur l'armure et l'arme principal en question?
Merci ! Pour l'armure, une rune +3 en domination, une rune +1 en incantation rapide, une rune +1 en inspiration, une rune santé +50 et une rune santé +10. Niveaux insignes, uniquement du survivant sauf une insigne prodige sur le bas. Je précise que c'est probablement pas hyper optimal, et que le mieux est d'avoir plusieurs sets d'armure dont par exemple un avec plus d'énergie pour pouvoir s'adapter à la situation. Niveau armes : 1 set 20/20 domination + 10/10 sur tous les sorts 1 set 20/20 domination et +15/-1 d'énergie (en général on joue plutôt un +30/-1) 1 set défensif avec épée énergie +5 armure +5 et bouclier d'anniversaire santé +30 avec armure +10 contre XXX (que j'adapte en fonction de mes ennemis) 1 set avec arc plat pour pull Si nécessaire, un set avec enchant +20% pour silhouette et linceul de détresse
De manière générale c'était plutôt 12+3+1 domination, 11+1 incantation rapide, et 6+1 inspiration :) mais selon les builds c'était amené à changer (surtout avec sceau de guérison ou des sorts d'Assassin)

Darn I’ve played through 3/4 campaigns in order as a warrior with henchies and heroes. Didn’t know opening the xunlai chest made you no longer ironman even if nothing was in the chest. Congrats on the amazing achievement btw!
Thanks! Don't worry, ironman rules are not that fixed and it's up to any ironman to choose the ruleset he wants to use (the main goal being to have fun). I personnally allowed trading with mat, rune and dye traders, which saved me from hours of mat farming and gave me a significant money advantage compared to other solo ironman (almost all of them do not allow traders of objects with price depending on other players). But if I had had to hard farm to buy all those signets of capture, I probably wouldn't have done elite skill hunter (and who knows if I'd have had the motivation to get so far after that). Finally, you probably got almost no advantage from having access to an empty chest anyway. You clearly still belong to the ironman community :)

Merci ! Si tu parles du nombre d'objets golds, les taux de drop sont les mêmes qu'en farm. Donc disons jusqu'à une quarantaine d'objets golds dans les plus grandes zones (si faveur des dieux active). Si tu parles d'argent, l'argent que je me suis fait sur le perso m'a permis d'acheter plus de 500 crochetages (750k), dans les 200 ectos (disons 1000k avec les prix qui varient), mon armure (environ 80k) + l'argent que j'ai encore sur moi (environ 90k), soit un total très approximatif de 2000k. Ça reste évidemment peu rentable comparé à du farm. En ce qui concerne les mobs oubliés, ça arrivait mais en réalité très rarement. Comparé à du vidage de zone en groupe, je ne me déplaçais pas au hasard, et je tuais les ennemis lentement. Et les patrouilles, quand on tue doucement, finissent par nous retomber sur la tronche alors qu'on est déjà en combat, donc c'était les groupes à tuer en priorité en général :) mais c'est arrivé bien sûr

I think he is stuck at Moddok Crevice but have not played for a while As far as I know it's pretty much it. Not only Paragon is one of the worst for solo content, but also most people focused on Prophecies only and you cannot start Prophecies as a Paragon

Since I can't reply to your reddit. Look on here for builds to defeat shiro - there should be a few. I know ele is a very quick one on that. There's also apparently a really easy way to do eternal grove even with just hench and get master.
Hi Lori, you probably misunderstood my rules since I do not use any hench or heroe, and that is why it is so hard. About defeating Shiro, Ele uses the skill from Kuunavang and I do not have the same skill as mesmer. Also I think you need a warrior hench to kill shiro as Ele with the strategy you are talking about, but I may be wrong.
