In this video, you see a compilation of all rides at Wet 'n Wild Orlando that were in operation during our visit in May 2016. We'll take you on a journey through the world-famous Disco H2O, the funky Brain Wash, the spine-tingling Der Stuka and many more.
Wet 'n Wild will be closing forever on December 31st, 2016. It will be replaced by the brand-new water park "Volcano Bay" that is currently being built by Universal at International Drive. The opening of the new park is scheduled for 2017.

In diesem Video zeigen wir euch alle Rutschen im Wet 'n Wild Orlando, welche am Tag unseres Besuchs im Mai 2016 in Betrieb waren. Wir nehmen euch mit auf eine virtuelle Rutschpartie durch den weltberühmten Disco H2O, den aufregenden Brain Wash, den legendären Stuka und vieles mehr.
Das Wet 'n Wild Orlando wird am 31. Dezember 2016 für immer seine Pforten schließen. Stattdessen wird ebenfalls am International Drive momentan der neue Universal-Wasserpark "Volcano Bay" gebaut. Die Eröffnung für diesen brandneuen Wasserpark ist für das Jahr 2017 anberaumt.

I mean nothing will replace this I’ve went to Florida 2 times each time we went there and I LOVED it. I will cherish the memories of the Disco which was one of my favorite and the wave pool. I still get emotional when I think about it and this video reminds me of those wonderful memories

I can't remember when I went but when my mum went on its last year, she said it was time for it to go. We used to come to Florida and Disney world every 2 years (we can't afford it anymore). I was pretty young when I last went and can remember squat except the waterfall. But my mum said towards the end of its years, the park was dirty and greasy. I suppose not every good park is immortal.

It's heartbreaking to see such a legendary park leave us for good. Many of the park's attractions were built in-house, and those that were not were very unique and interesting. Rides such as Blast, Brain Wash, and Disco H20 had some really nice themes and concepts to go with them. The Bomb Bay (closed one year prior to when the park closed) and Der Stuka were the ancestors to the many extreme body slides we have come to be blessed by, including the Prosilde Superloop. And the Wake Zone was the only attraction of its kind for many years. Wet n Wild will be missed. That being said, I am honestly looking forward to Volcano Bay!

It should be noted that Wet n' Wild Orlando is the first modern water park. It will be a sad day on New Years Eve at 5pm when the park closes for ever.

I used to go to Wet n Wild as a kid all the time, but hadn't gone for several years when it closed. Thank you so much for taking these videos! As a sentimental person I'm so glad I have a video to keep my memories from fading too much.

At age 7 I had the chance to ride all these wonderful rides but I was an idiot and decided not to because I was scared now I realized what an amazing opportunity I had to go to this wonderful water park but I missed it just because I was too scared R.I.P you will be missed 1977-2016

I last went to orlando in 2019, and we drove down to the intersecriin where wet n wild used to be, the car park was still there(partly dug up) and the new hotel wasnt quite finished yet.... Sat in Ihop just over the road... Ahh great memories

I haven't been to Volcano Bay yet, but even if I do like that waterpark more, I'll still never forgive Universal for closing this place down. Not only was this place very important in the waterpark industry, but it was also my second favorite waterpark of all time because of the variety and quality of the slides they offered. It angers me even more that none of these were relocated to Volcano Bay as they would've been great attractions. I hope years from now that this park gets rebuilt bigger and better, not necessarily in Orlando but somewhere in Florida preferably.

I loved wet n wild one of my fav places to go as a kid. The blackhole disco 20min bubble up as a little kid. However the storm was a freaking deathtrap

Sadly they all were demolished. The black hole is the only slide left standing but will be torn down soon.

I think it was in the beginning of 2016 for technical reasons. Those trapdoor slides have some quite high-maintenance parts and I think it didn't pay off for them to replace them. It's a permanent closure, the ride isn't even listed on the park map anymore.

The slide was infested with yellow jackets so they closed the slide permanently. 3 people were injured and 1 person swallowed one and choked. I was in line when that happened.

Kennst du Schloss dankern? Da gibt es auch ein Schwimmbad und das ist so cool dort gibt es eine hochgeschwindikeitsrutsche,reifenrutsche trichterrutsche,eine ganz breite und zwei normale.

I went on the last year ( last splash) bearing in mind I was 11 I went on all rides as I knew it was the last time. Its ashamed detonator was closed but I dont think I would have been brave enough
