Preparing to sing this at the Grammy Awards is how Josh Groban was "discovered." Andrea Bocelli was going to be too late to attend the rehearsal, so David Foster (the accompanist in this video) got his student to step in at the last minute. The rest, as they say, is history.

There is a version by Celine Dion and Josh Groban which is equally as good. David Foster asked Josh to rehearse with Celine when Andrea Bocelli was delayed coming to the USA. Josh was 17 at the time and this started his career.

She’s not hitting the notes high like usual bc she has a disorder called stiff person syndrome now. Which is close to MS she can barely talk now. It’s so sad. I grew up on her and she is forever a legend. ❤

I got to see Celine live in 2020 and she sounds incredible in concert. And she did sing the closing credits version of Beauty and the Beast for Beauty and the Beast. And Andrea is an amazing talent. Truly.
