Tim Lester has got me excited about what the Iowa Offense could and can be. It just looks like the boys are starting to really have fun out there.

Love the analysis guys but I do want to point out that you call them 73rd in the country but you have to remember that all of the top teams are playing weaker schedules so the numbers could be skewed a bit. I think you should put the numbers against the later season numbers at the end of the year. It's just too early to compare numbers yet. Just look at the numbers that Minnesota put up on defence until Iowa came to town. That is when we will learn what we are made of, against OSU that is. It will be a gauge for our players to see where to improve.

Kirk Ferentz Football = TJ Hall makes mistake in 3rd career start = benched and cancelled for season. Cade makes mistakes versus Iowa State and costs Iowa the game. KF : "Hey. The 6th Year Senior will get better!" (Dude can't even throw a pass with any zip on it over 25 yards). Amazing what some people in the media justify with KF's hypocrisy. Don't tell us the passing game will get better. The competition is just going to get better and Cade isn't going to be fitting passes in down-field vertically with the little 5'11 (He's not 6'1) noodle arm QB! At least be intellectually honest with your viewers! This was a big year for Iowa Football with all the guys on defense coming back , and we have a starting QB who is good at what? Handing the freaking ball off? Not gonna get it done! Not going to be a Top-12 Program at year's end due to the weakness at QB.
