When I was a kid growing up in the back blocks of NZ, I saw a dragonfly that would have been about two foot long ,blue and black it was sitting on a water container by dog kennels I was too scared to grab it because I got told dragonflies bite ......we used to have Kiwi's nesting under our house and penguins in our woolshed on one island I grew up on . and I new a old guy who swore moa could still be around
