I have enjoyed Owen's commentary for the tournament here in the States. He even throws in some NBA and NFL analogies. Showing his North American background.

I remember this player when he played for Bayern during the Champions League of 2001. He played the final match against Valencia, replacing defensive player Jens Jeremies who was ill. He really helped the team a lot, both with his high technique and his ability to keep possession of the ball. He helped Bayern as he imposed a kind of calmness in the game that the team had lacked previously. Thanks Owen ❤

My favourite player: 5 league titles, 2 Champions Leagues, all in 8 full seasons. Not too shabby! The resilience he showed, to be disliked, ridiculed, and demeaned by the UK press and pundits pre 2006, and then deliver beyond anyone else, what a competitor.

Despite all the top quality players that’s playing in the national team but the team played in a horrible way and dragged himself through the tournament 🏟 I believe it’s the South Gate effect 😅 I believe they will lose the final for Spain 🇪🇸
