I know this was posted 3 months ago, but I've accidentally found that if you alert call/bark, the pups will gather around you for a moment or two. That could potentially help you out in the future! I also like configuring my favorites wheel so that its much easier for me to tell them to go home, come out, etc., since I only have to press a button, but thats a personal preference! I did find it's saved my pups in regards to close calls since seconds do matter, so I figured I'd suggest it if you didn't know/think about it! Great video as always :) EDIT: I know you've been playing WQAE for a long while, but here are a few other things that I figured I'd drop for you (or anyone really) who doesn't know these things: -When you smell scents, that means the scents are coming from the direction opposite of where they're floating. For example, if the scents are floating east, that means the scents are coming from the west. Anything you smell is downwind if that makes sense. There are probably exceptions to this though, and there are obviously scents you won't be able to smell if they aren't downwind, so always keep an eye out! - When there's an Ungulate nearby, it will play the music you always hear. If you leave the mother alive and walk out of the area where the Ungulate is, the music will turn back to normal. If you go back again, the Ungulate music will play. What I've found helps is to find the Ungulate /First/ so the mother comes running to you. That way you can kill both the Mom and remember where the baby is to easily find it and kill it for your pups. - I stated this in the original comment, but using the number buttons to bark commands to the pups really helps a lot. I've changed my favorites wheel to have most, if not all the calls that help with Pups, Predators, etc. - If you go into another packs hex, if you can find their scent marker and mark on /top/ of their scent marker, it greatly deteriorates the enemy packs hex, sometimes even making it your own (just without a scent marker). If it does become yours after marking it once, if you mark it again it will get to the normal 50%-60% range, and you could go from there! - Puppy's will always survive sickness on easy mode (not really a tip or trick but gives some peace of mind to people looking for a more casual experience). - The lower the Pack Affinity, the more likely your pups are to stroll out/ stop listening to you. So remember to always interact with them as much as possible! - Different types of enemies will get more scared or more agitated with different types of growls. For example, Bears get angrier with the normal G Growl, but I /believe/ the more aggressive growl in the voice wheel scares them instead. I believe the opposite is true with cougars, and so on and so forth. - If you want to change your favorites wheel but don't know how, I believe you just have to click on it! If you click on the emotes/sounds you want to get rid of, it takes them out for you so you can replace it with whatever you want. If I remember anymore tips or tricks I'll add them to the list!
