This is gonna be half the price once Stern takes another 2k+ for a topper with gameplay enhancements! That's if you can find a topper before the secondary market markup. Unless you want a "pro" *cough*, *missing features* version. I like American pinball quality, parts, and customer service too. A lot of people don't like this theme, if you do this is a stellar pinball game because the game itself is very well designed and has a ton of shots to keep the game interesting. Mine will be otw shortly. American pinball seems to be committed to software updates too.
The game looks fun, the shots seem smooth, and I dig the theme. Love the different modes and the battles. However, the animation art is pretty inconsistent and it really bothers me. I dislike the font type and colors of the animations. The mixture of cartoonish 2D characters with 3D images is a strange choice. It feels half-baked.
This has to be a game that you just don’t look at the LCD screen, the art looks like some high school art student’s sketch book. There is barely any animation at all, it’s all still frames.
