Reminds me of 'El Baile Grande' de Mcallen de Paulino Bernal. Those were the days. The days when we finally had something that belong to us and to us only. We were so proud of our music. Musica Chicana, we called it. 'Musica Orchestal Tejana'. Paulino Bernal was the Godfather of Musica Tejana. Little Joe was the king of Tejano, Sunny was the voice of Tejano and my favorite, Agustine was the Prince of Tejano.

Yes such good times. No shootings or bad drugs . My parents went with us to dances . I was a teenager in 60s and loved to dance. The guys would come to us and dance with us. They would walk us back to where we were. I was fortunate to have heard lots of bands too. I’m glad to be Mexicans. God thank you for the great times I’m 76 now.
Estas gran leyendas son una chulada Al 💯 gracias Dios por estas bendiciones tan phenomenal pues son un Gran orgullo al 💯 Mr.Joe Bravo rip my friend it's true the stars belong to the sky 💯👽✌🏼
Seen them all at the California Ballroom in Modesto, Ca. In the 70s. There will never be times like that again. But great memories. Que viva Tejano music! Shout out to my hometown Santa Rosa, Texas!!!!!
Beronica sorry to hear your health situation, but God has a plan for all of us. As for performing in Lubbock hopefully we'll be there sometime soon. My prayers to you and your family.
Well, in my humble opinion, I don't agree with Joe's politics but I honor him in a class all by himself... He recorded the best production of a Tejano song I have ever heard, "Las Nubes" and it still after many years sounds great.
