To me the most important off season acquisition was Tyron Smith . That signing alone allowed AVT to stay at his natural position but more importantly it gave the Jets the opportunity to get the best OL fit for the roster while also giving the team the option to draft whatever position it chooses.

either trade up for ALT or trade down , try to get a second round pick, and get Myron Guyton to learn from Moses and Tyron Smith, then draft a receiver in second round

This draft should be about offensive linemen receivers and the last two picks I take dart throws at QB with Kedon Slovis and Jason Bean .

13:08 O-line , O-LINE, O-line with #10...it is THE RIGHT MOVE...jobs on the line or not...we need insurance at those tackle spots...no if ands or buts!!!! IMHO

IMO, the best OL fit is Troy Fautanu because he could start at any of 4 position along the line and probably from day 1 . Olu is LT only, I don’t like Alt at all, Fuaga is a RT and so is Latham . Mims is a RT who has LT flexibility but is a 2025 starter . Morgan and Guyton are LT prospects for 2025 and beyond.

If they can find a partner, I would be all about trading back and trying to get a 2nd rounder. They can get that young o-lineman as well as a quality WR. Then maybe an RB or Safety in the 3rd. To me that would be almost ideal.

They still need a back up RB and more O Line help they have no quality depth and they need a 3 WR Smith and williams are injury risks smith hasnt played a full season since 2015 williams coming off a ACL if he is right he wont really get back to what he was till the half way mark of the year Rodgers who knows what he will be almost 2 years not playing and coming off a his injury alot of questions still and even more questions with this coaching staff that's been a disaster

Lmao new york jets saying they are winners. Season hasn't even started yet and with the new tackle rule your defense is trash! More flags will be blown and your offense isn't even top tier! Tell your GM he can't even build a good team and im sure the turf doesn't even help with all the injuries happening.

The Jets haven't had a competent offensive line in like 14 years, where that line, plus a defense, got Mark Sanchez, who never in his career threw for 168 yards without also throwing an interception into back-to-back AFC Championships. Also, why would the new tackle rule hurt the Jets more than every other team in the league? "new york jets saying they are winners" is this year's "the new york jets think they're a superbowl team".

best player available concept is an absolute joke.. if it was a function of proper scouting, then every frikin team in the league would be on a path to championships that draft at the top half of the draft, and all the bottom teams would never win again.. but all the teams at 30 31 32.. always hit it .... and return to the playoffs with frequency...Last season... the NEEDED to fill the WR position in the 1st round and have a cheap star, and then sign HUFF.. rather than frantically looking for OL and WR now!!! ugh
