The cheese strat is considerable if theres too many people already dead in middle of encounter. Otherwise it’s too much effort and probably not even viable due to lack of damage from esther, having to wait to fill up, etc. -Editor
@@NATK Can confirm, it took my group several tries just to get the 'cheese' down. Time better spent learning the mechanic in my opinion, and using our esther resource elsewhere. We had to stop DPSing and wait for fillup before 15th hp bar
Valtan will be a game changer for sure. People will either love it or hate it with nothing in between. Pretty sure this is a checkpoint for Lost Ark in NA-EU. Can't wait to see how it goes

Just abyss they cannot do it properly and it will have at least one person ignored mech and wiped :/ I dont mind and be patient if they are willing to learn but some people just dont :/
I;ve seen overgeared raid too much and neglecting that Valtan will come when the majority is on the exact iLVL and seeing this all mechanics on their first week is reminding me back on Argos releases. But a thing for sure it will be so much fun XD
i think ill just chill with the new guardian and chaos until i have Ilevel to learn mechanics without floor tanking! :3 exactly bc of what you said, everyone wants to clear at ilevel.
I mean the first time this raid came out in KR, people had to do it blind too. There was no guides, so yes, that;s what people did, play the game and figure it out. Thank god we're just playing catch up version so we have guides and videos ready.
Im exactly at the same point as you..2 hones away from 1415 all GHL used.. Trying to hone with the daily unas but has failed. At this point if i don't make it in the reset dunno if i could make valtan with guild mates.

How long before the Orbs disappear if we do the stagger check via Wei? Or do they even disappear if we kite them long enough? Could be useful to know if we have him at 15 HP bar but there are dead people to do the mech properly.
I have no doubt in my mind first post on forums after the update will be people asking for nerfs LOL even abby raids 1340 sometimes seems impossible if you que up in matchmaking solo, imagine solo q valtan KEKW
Of course it will be, but prepare for many wipes, cause there always tends to be at least one person that has no clue about anything, including there own position and this person always thinks asking is a sign of weakness or something like that and rather wipes the group 10+ times lol
@@s3ni0r71 I've seen a 1490 do Valtan normal bus in KR and actually finish so dps wise if you have at least one or two actual players it's technically not impossible. Having said that what's the likelihood of the 1475 guy and the other pug players being THAT good at the fight the week it comes out? So let me ask you. How many Valtan busses have you done?
So.. say I manage to beat the wolfs.. would that be considered as a checkpoint? Can I then come back another day and do the cow? Or does everything needs to be done in one try?
There is so much information in one gate only. I feel like the game doesn't prepare you for legion raids with a increasing difficulty content. It's easy peasy and then just throws you in the lion's pit

I just can't with this shit on hard mode. That red wolf is so overtuned and fucking stupidly designed as hell. It sounds easy, but it's not. Sometimes you just get applied 2 or 3 stacks instantly if you're melee character and jump from 0 or 1 to 3 instantly, can't even use panacea in time, and the explosion happens from either you or a teammate next to you and you can't even predict that this guy has 3 stacks and he'll explode just insta-killing people next to him. It's fucking impossible. Why can't they just give you a 1 stack of bleed at a time and like 5 seconds grace period from getting a second one, and then again 5 seconds grace period from getting 3rd one. It would have helped so much, cuz otherwise after experiencing 1 week of this nightmare I still keep on fucking dying randomly from people next to me without even any fucking alarm that would make it possible to dodge.
each gate gives loot and lets you save progress, no more argos "pick 1 to finish" you can finish one or two gates (some raids have 6) and come back later
can you cheese the 30 bar mech? like i saw that all raid memberes are going to 6 o'clock and only the leader remains near the boss, summons wei and then runs to 12 o'clock without taking the orbs so that the rest of the memberes are comming to do the stagger. Is that ok if we will do it ?
I honestly give up on this raid, been trying to do it for like a whole week and there's always this one genius that gets the party wiped because they don't know the orb mechanic
The orb mechanic is just bad game design. If one person fail, party wipe. This create toxicity in the community and prevents new players from joining party finder. There’s a difference between difficult gameplay that challenges the player and just bad game mechanics. Just wiping from one mechanic… in many other games like FFXIV the developers never put a one player failure resulting in entire party wipe cause it’s just not fun for everyone. What Lost ark created was a you fail, you get kick. If you in a group and that one person keeps failing or dying your in a trap game with them. If you’re that person, you’ll never want to play again. In turn this creates a toxic community.
Mechanic with orbs is similar to T1 abyss before nerf 🤣 this will be hilarious 🤣 in EUC this T1 abyss was comedy show 🤣 for some people taking orb in order is too much of a challenge 😉 I'm prepared for some wipes and I'm happy, more wipes equal more experience. I don't like beating new content in first try if you done it with pure luck. I'll go pug and I'll say that I'm happy to do this with pug because it's fun. When using party finder I always have luck to meet nice people and do everything without problem. So we will see how this will work for Valtan 😁
