In this video, we will show you how to build a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle in LEGO 2K Drive.
Yes, I realize that I built it backwards. I flipped it around. I also added a seat, which necessitated the addition of two 4x1x1 pieces on the roof to provide enough space to fit the driver. Please learn from my mistakes!
This particular model car is perhaps best well-known for the portrayal of Herbie from Disney’s The Love Bug. I’m still new to this game, but I’m really hoping that there is a way to make your own decals, so I can add the iconic racing stripes and number 53.
Special thanks to @Keep_On_Bricking for their tutorial on how to build a LEGO Volkswagen Beetle: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vV0-Ksto-c8.html. I used this video as reference, with some modifications to accommodate parts restrictions. I really wish the game would allow us to build the cars completely from scratch, including the chassis, but I can live with it.
LEGO 2K Drive launches on May 19 for Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. Awesome Edition and Awesome Rivals Edition get 3-day early access.

Following along with this now. First time playing. Im at 29:00 watching you try and line up the engine covers. I found you can slide the pieces with the adjustment tab we were using to rotate, just need to change the AXIS. Also, when selecting the whole piece from the Adjustable Grip piece, theres no need to individually select each piece, you can simply use the "Select Up" feature. Hope this helps with future builds. I cant wait to finish this build. Thanks again for the videos.
