Get your building blocks ready, because we've grabbed our helmets, built our cars, and raced through LEGO 2K Drive! #Gaming #lego2kdrive #Lego2kDriveReview #shorts
You pay with in game currency that you get from completing missions and races, they give the option to purchase this currency but it isn't really needed since it's very easy to grind for the cash
@@TheBetaNetwork no doubt they can make a good game. I loved the Mafia games… and I even worked for them for a while doing CS.. which is where I lost a lot of respect for them unfortunately.
Mafia 2 was my absolute favourite! First game I got when I finally got a PS3! But yeah, I can completely understand wanting to hold off! It's definitely worth giving a go though... But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up on PS+ or gamepass 😅😅
@@TheBetaNetworkI think they've done good the micro transactions aren't in your face and are completely avoidable just by playing the game itself, the battle pass isn't timed and can be completed at your own pace. Other games should honestly take note.
IDK, the barebone game, even without anything unlocked, gives a lot of possibilities and enough bricks for very cool builds. I only got a few brick sets and some motor sounds… if you want lots of prebuild cars, that‘s another story then
@sj460162 Thanks for checking out our review and for the positive feedback! To answer your question, only split screen currently allows for story mode to be played with friends - which includes missions & challenges. As for online play, you can still play in a shared open world (so basically drive around the map with other friends in it) but the story mode functions are not available. Hope this answers your question! Oh and a quick extra - at the current time in local split screen, player 2 can't seem to drive custom vehicles, only unlocked ones! So... There's that 😅😅 What interests you most about LEGO 2K Drive? - Sam
Probably almost wasn’t even mentioning the micro transactions but good to know they don’t actually hold you back from anything it’s just optional shark carding if you just want to that’s all?
Why is everyone so fixated on the microtransactions? You can literally purchase everything except the season pass with in game currency and it doesnt even take that long to earn once you get to A class which only takes about 5 hours. In the meantime the game is constantly gifting you vehicles. The season passes dont even expire unlike every other live service game and they're only $10.
😬😬😬 Yeah, unfortunately we can't seem to get a 2K game without microtransactions anymore... But at least here, it's not too bad... I found that I had a ripper time without having any issues with pay walls! But I can definitely understand the hesitation so many people have expressed with regards to purchasing this title! Have you had a chance to play the game? - Sam
Tbh I wouldn’t even compare this garbage to that Golden series. They should’ve just made a third one but idk I feel like either way it would’ve gotten ruined. The original developers weren’t even in on it.
@@Dddda141 they are, but they shouldn't be in a $60 game, microtransactions should only be in a free to play game. A paid game should be an experience you can get stuff without having to worry about all that optional stuff.
Hahaha! I can definitely feel your excitement for System Shock! @jazzmengardley750 We actually just got a PC code for it yesterday and I've played for about 4 hours or so... but I'll save my thoughts for the review 😁 - Anthony
@The Beta Network *GASP* Lucky ugh I want it on console so badly I'm tempted to do pc but I'm not much of a pc person as u can tell 😅🤣 can't wait for the review🤩
Lol! You might have to bite the bullet on this one and go the PC route, because I don't think they've even announced a release date at all for PlayStation and Xbox. Otherwise, the wait will be loooooonnnnnggggg... Hopefully not 'next year' long, if that's the case though 😅 But I really appreciate the support! My review will be up a couple of hours before release-stay tuned!
@@TheBetaNetwork Noooooo I will never go to pc lol🤣🤣 i can wait heck I waited for Death Stranding and hey I waited to get a pc for like 5 years till I got it 👍😅 but no release date yet on consoles but hopefully soon like around Halloween but we'll I know they want to make sure everything works well when it goes to console just like hogwarts legacy they delayed it because they wanted there game to have no issues when it was released🙂 but hey plenty of good games coming out this year so I can keep myself busy😉👍🙂
That's a very positive attitude there! Lots of awesome games have been coming out recently, so you've got plenty of things to tide you over 👍 Thankfully, I haven't encountered any technical issues with the System Shock Remake at the moment. But like you said, maybe it'll be even better once it releases on consoles 😊 Hopefully it's this year though, as I'd be surprised if it wasn't...
@@sponge_playzz the price definitely is a big turn off but that's just the standard now, I would say it's worth the money either way but that's only if you enjoy open world games with challenges and collectibles
I download this and its good but i will say that the minigames were a bit forced in for example the robot invadion just why and also if someone says its for the kids my brother who is 7 did not enjoy any of the minigames i feel like the game should just force it once and if you loose you can continue the history mode and come back to it later
I like your thinking! Yeah the microtransactions are a pain, but they don't get in the way here. It's still a really enjoyable experience! Would've been that bit better without in game purchases 😬😅
Haha appreciate the support! I can understand that many people don't enjoy the slapstick comedy stylings of the LEGO games, but they get me everytime! 😁😁😅😅😅
