Am I the only one who watches this after watching his latest video? Encouraging to Brickfilmers that even the master's skills had to come from somewhere!
Not bad, the redcoats look more like pre-Revolutionary War British soldiers (the uniform styles had changed by the late 18th Century) but I'd say they work quite well!
You know how expensive it would be to buy accurate gear? They don't have a uniform so every soldier would have to be different. Also, again this is a lego animation, not a documentary
tw3rky turk3y the American revolution is when the American people got tired of British laws and taxes so before the war began a group of Americans dressed like natives and sunk the British tea and they called themselves the Boston tea party in Boston there was a uprising and British soldiers killed 8 Americans and so the war began the British where winning the war then France just had to help American there plans where to help the American army to fight the British so the British fight there more than France but Waterloo the battle saw the end of the French the the battle of bunker hill was one of the last battles of the revolutionary war then the Declaration of Independence was sighed
The American Revolution took place between 1775 and 1783 consisting of the 13 American colonies, Great Britian and France. Britin had just finished fighting wars including the French and Indian War (or the Seven Years War). This lead to England having a very large war debt and it led to the British Parliment to pass several taxes against its colonies including the American colonies. The Stamp Act, for example, was enacted and was justified as since the war involved protecting American colonists that American colonists should carry some of the economic burden of paying for their defense so to speak. Americans began to protest individual taxes until a series of them were enacted and repealed to the point where tensions had erupted resulting in the Boston Tea Party and the Boston Massacre which soon erupted into full rebellion against the British. Boycotts were staged and soon the first continental congres convened to elect a commander ie George Washington for the first continental army.(there was a total of two congresses) After a rough start American forces were able to defeat the British in key battles such as Saratoga, Trenton, and with the help of France towards the end of the war, Yorktown. British General George Cornwallis surrenderd to the American and French forces and the treaty of Paris in 1783 officially ended the war. Hoped that helped:)
