Predictions before every fight happens (that why there will be a lot of edits) I explain upset predictions Potatoes wins because America is unreliable and potatoes my man will survive Yellocapboptor wins because it will constantly deflect the drum and take off one of big wheels Galaxy wins Hoss wins Galaxy wins Hoss wins Hoss wins vs galaxy because he constantly deflects galaxy blade and will lift pieces off and eventually OOTA Wow I was close! The last fight I think hoss would have won if he wasn’t immobilized in the last seconds. That showed galaxy’s blade was doing damage
Drum-Hella managed to give its opponent a “black eye” before getting knocked out. Love the upgrades to truly are one of the best niche content creators on RU-vid.
I would recommend buying these off of Bricklink. www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=56908&idColor=1#T=S&C=1&O={%22color%22:1,%22iconly%22:0} www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=69909&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={%22color%22:11,%22iconly%22:0} I bought them from Lego.com, but I don't think that they are currently being sold there anymore, and their shipping time is really bad right now.
Great bots and great content. What happened to hoss during that battle? They started to go a bit sluggish? I had them down as winning as its such a sturdy build. Are the bots all lego or do you use any of the 3rd party stuff?
I mostly use Lego electronics, but I have a Buwizz 2.0 inside of both Hoss and Galaxy. Hoss began to slow down because I overused the power in the Buwizz by raising the lifter too high while self righting to the point where there were some nasty gear slips. This was because I tried driving Hoss with the Buwizz app, which is not very ideal for controlling a Lego battlebot.
The set that got me started was the 42095 Remote-Controlled Stunt Racer www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=42095-1&name=Remote-Controlled%20Stunt%20Racer&category=%5BTechnic%5D%5BModel%5D%5BRace%5D#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}. The set is old and no longer sold by Lego, so it will cost a bit more. The link I sent is from BrickLink, and you can find sets there new and used for less than the original price. To make a combat robot, you will need to buy one additional motor and receiver in order to power a weapon.
I've been considering something like a double elimination tournament, but I really can't expand the tournament much farther because I only have the electronics to make 8 bots at the moment.
