I've decided to wait for a really long time before posting an update, but here's a quick rundown of the specs so far:
It has a 3 speed transmission, gear ratios are 1st: 9:1, 2nd: 3:1, and 3rd: 1:1.
It now has power steering.
It has head and tail lights with their own switch, so you can have the car on, but have the lights off.
It has functional doors, hood, and trunk.
Some of the best fitment on the rear wheels.
Has a slot in the trunk for the jack stands.
A big gaping hole in the roof to see what gear you're in.
A functional rear differential.
After the last video, I started working on it a bunch. I bought an extra motor with extra RC stuff to make it cool. I then put together a 2 speed transmission that just wasn't enough for me, so I built a 3 speed. The only problem with it is that if there is to much resistance on the wheels in second gear, the center shaft bends and the gears slip. Though it still can drive normally in second gear. I actually had to sand down a piece on the output shaft because it was about .5 mm too thick. I went through three different steering system designs, the first being huge and heavy, so I had to make it as small but functional as possible, using a normal large gear and a worm gear as you can see. I made a bunch of exterior changes, I am currently very very happy with the look, so it will stay like this for a while. I have finally come up with a name for it; I would call it the Jumper Midnight. I would name the company Jumper, because all of the designs from the very first have had a little green frog somewhere on the car. Midnight because it is black and I like the sound of it. Ask any question about the car, and I can answer it.
