parts of lego "investing" is to know when to sell, everything can always be remade. we are getting 2 new goats in 2024 with the one here and then the one in the upcoming castle set

This goat is all white. The one in the upcoming Medieval Market set is allegedly grey. So the OG goat will still be unique. For now…

true! I think for the boxes on marvel 2 didnt people bring scales to the stores??

I did, found a very cheap small scale, did buy 2 doubles because it measures 0.1g more, but now that I know just have to account for that 0.1g difference and works just fine. Got the ones I wanted.

@@sunkist1309 That would completely ruin the experience for other shoppers, and the store workers would not appreciate that. I work at a store so I know how theft can bring profits down.

@@benlankhof7342 I do not care, I do not care about the opening “experience” either. It’s dumbed down gambling. When the Mario boxes came out I went to Walmarts and targets and cut the boxes open so people could see what’s in them. I did the same for the marvel figs. And will do the same for these. If mega corps like target and Walmart ECT lose profits I won’t lose any sleep. If you’re operating a smaller business boycott the boxes or open and sell them out of box like most smaller stores have been doing.

the boxes are really a shame, they likely lead to more theft in the stores

@@BrickRevolution feeling the packets was also better for people who couldn’t feel them. Three of one character per case. One person could end up with three of the same. It’s also bad that Lego uses the environment excuse which is absolute rot because then why are we still getting sets with pieces in plastic bags? They’ve used the environment as a cover to become more anti consumer. And they have a scannable code on the bottom of the boxes which will let Lego themselves know exactly what pieces are in that box. But unlike S1 and S2 this is within their internal batch system. But they claim they don’t know what’s inside them. Overall this one situation has put the nail in the coffin for Lego and me going forward. I don’t collect Lego anymore because clearly their values and customer care have made a complete U turn. It’s such a shame.
