LEGO Emerald Night is one of THE MOST memorable LEGO train sets. It's a shame that LEGO can't or won't make LEGO train sets like this. Well, it's probably the most memorable, other then the LEGO City High-Speed Passenger Train, the LEGO System 10001 Metroliner Train, and some others.

Depends, I just got it recently and the high speed passenger train is the one I grew up with the most. I like the emerald night more, but the high speed passenger train is for me the most memorable

I am a very blessed person. I got this set back in 2014 and that was when it was selling for about $300. It’s around $500-$600 now. Though later that year my stupid self tore it apart. I am in the process of building it back piece by piece. Having it back is like meeting an old friend. Truly a classic LEGO train. And this is coming from someone who generally dislikes British trains. LEGO, we need more like the emerald night!!!

I totally agree. The only thing about this set I don't like is only 1 wagon. I also bought this set a few years ago and paid $345 for it. It was very expensive to me at the time, but comparing to these days' standards, it would have been considered a pretty good deal :)

Just ordered this for $800 sealed in box. It was a lot but this is my favorite kit of all time. I used to own it when I was younger and I cannot wait to experience it all over again from an older age!

Lego needs to release more steams, look at the high demand of the Emerald Night, now is very expensive to get one. I really love this set, this is the best gift my parents ever made when I was a kid (even better than more expensive stuff). It aged like fine wine and I'm still admiring this and is the cherry on the top of my trains collection.

This is one of those sets I'd really like to get my hands on, but they're just so expensive, and on top of the amount of money you have to pay for that, you'd also have to buy the right components to make it run, and an extra train car to make it feel more complete

The black parts on the cockpit are placed wrong in this video. The black windows should be in front of the triangular little piece. Not the other way around as in this video. Except from this tiny mistake it's a great video. Thank you.

Fun fact this is based on an English Pacific class that was created by sir Nigel Gresly for the LNER line it looks like the flying Scotsman after its redevelopment in 2017/18

I had this train 8 Years ago But i shattered it apart as a little kid. Im probably going to Try to find all the pieces tommorrow cuz Im bored! Wish Me luck :) Update: i found all the pieces for the locomotive and tende, except one of the Dark green pieces with the Gold stripes (of course the most expensive one)

Because it doesn't have a Wreath. The Locomotive couldn't go around the very tight Lego Courves if it had one

+The Lego King i pause filming between the sequences and lay the next pieces right beside me not in view angle of the camera, between 10 and 100 pcs every time. this varies with the difficulty, the size of the object and much more criterials....
