Perfect review. Especially the conclusion, "if you think the price is ok, then buy it, you'll feel even better" makes all you say and show come together. It helps ANYONE, no matter if it seems too expensive or not. Much appreciated.

Creator 3 in 1 has really been killing it recently. I have other priorities so probably won't be getting this (even though I prefer animal builds to random items) but this looks great. Man I wish Lego was cheaper.

I had this set in my hand at the story the other day, but the price ultimately felt a little high, so I passed. That giraffe does look terrific, though. And it's pretty sizable! I may end up getting this one after all. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the other two builds, since they look pretty good to me, too!

In the past few years Lego creator animals have been amazing This set is easily one fo the best. The alternate lion model is better than the old lion set If this was $50 it would be amazing

As a huge animal buff, this just looks fantastic to me. I already was close to buying the tiger set, but this one seems like a must have. Can’t wait to see the lion and antilope side builds.

I built this yesterday, and it is just as good as Jang's review says. I'm not even going to do the alternate builds; I'm just going to keep the giraffe on display indefinitely.

An amazing set and an amazing thing to do this fundraiser too. Really heartwarming to see how kind this community is! I've got to say I love love love the shaping on the giraffe, the designers have really done an amazing job on this one. I'm super impressed with the shaping of the head especially. The parts choices and parts usages really felt almost magical to me. It would have been so easy to make the head look too big or too boxy but I really think they've gone above and beyond. I don't even think the scale on the flamingo is off by much, pretty tall birds, 4~4.5 ft, giraffes are about 16 - 19 ft tall, so there is some wiggle room. 😅 I'm really looking forward to the alternative build review videos

A gorgeous set! One of the best animal sets I've seen from Lego. Really captures the essence of the animal, especially, the head, as you say. Nice touch allowing the legs to splay, the way the real animal does so it can get low enough to drink. David Attenborough would approve :)

It's not a look they're going forvwith the green elbow connectors. It's that they had to get rid of the green ones in that angle that were preproduced...

This giraffe is spot on, no pun intended! It absolutely looks the part, and even though you can't open the mouth and do much for walking poses, how it looks and what it can do, is pretty amazing.

I was excited for this set for an entirely different reason. That being the introduction of the new technic hand connector (old Bionicle hand) in reddish brown. I hope Lego introduces additional new colours for that piece this year.

I think I might have to get this one just for the build experience and obviously it looks great. I built the Halloween cat and mouse set a couple months back and it was a nice experience. I don't know what it is abou these animals they're just fun to put together especially when they have cool building techniques like this. The pieces are also very useful.

It was a fun stream and we're all proud of all the work and effort you put in. People don't realize how much of a toll it takes on creators like you who devote that amount of dedication. You did the stream, did this review right away and here we are the next morning! I love this set, the head has so much detail and personality. Lego should have put more effort into the tree. It would be iconic, if it would be a nice wide baobab and at least as tall as the giraffe. That would maybe more justify the absurd price. This stump looks really poor.

Lego is just unsustainable as a hobby now. Everything is way too expensive, what you get is not at all worth what you pay for, even if it's a fairly calculated price. The only time I ever feel like I'm getting a good deal anymore is with sets they put a ridiculously low price on, everything else is just robbery.

Lego has always been an expensive hobby. If you take inflation into account most things are priced about the same they always have been (with some exceptions of course).

If you do MOCs from already owned pieces/sets or interested on making cities or dioramas, it becomes more sustainable and long term. Because need to buy new sets become secondary. You would just want to get new pieces time to time. But if you are a colledtor by heart, Lego slowly becoming an ultra kuxry hobby for most people.

I unearthed my old collection and thought to get back into collecting more sets, only to be totally overwhelmed by the pricing. Ended up selling everything and moving on.
