Hi Caleb, yes, the 30 degree elbow 2nd from top should be angled to face the left of the stand, and the 90 degree axle on top of that should be rotated 180 degrees to face the right of the stand. It looks like you have the elbow facing towards the back (or front) and the top piece at 90 degrees to it. If you have a look at page 120 again and fix this up, you will not only achieve the angled display pose like the cover of the book, but you will also solve the stability issue! Hope this helps!

Nice build! Some of the builds can be quite frustrating. But before you get mad enough to send him into actual space - it seems that the connector on top of the stand should be rotated 90 degrees. So the pin is at an angle upward (check if it is like on page 120 in the instructions). Then I think the astronaut could be posed at an angle :) Keep up the good work!

You have made a small building mistake in the stand. Personally I do not like the legs and arms they are too thin if you look at pictures of real astronauts. But all in all it is a fun addition to my space collection.

That does look really cool but I totally understand the frustration with some sets being really fragile. Nothing makes me more mad then when you are fixing something and more pieces keep falling off. Maximum frustration. 😅

I am with you. I think if it is shown in a picture at a certain pose, then the purchaser should be able to easily get it into the same pose. I know the video was sped up but it still looked like you were able to put it together pretty quickly. You are amazing!

Thank you! I saw some people say they had to add pieces to it to bulk it up and get it to stay put - I don't think I should have to add to it, to get it to work properly. It looks cool, just some flaws.
