LEGO Dimensions - All Characters Unlocked Glitch!! (On Mystery Dimension)

So there is a glitch in LEGO Dimensions on the Mystery Dimension that will open a character grid and allow you to play as almost every character in the game! When the level starts, press to open your character wheel (Y on Xbox, Triangle on Playstation) and select to open the building instructions for whichever character is chosen. Then when it opens that cover of the instructions, press B/Circle to go back/exit the instructions. The next time you try to pull up the wheel, you will instead get a big character grid! I don't know how long this has been out there but I only discovered it today. Finally something that works in our favor. The catch is that it only works on the Mystery Dimension, and as soon as you leave, all you lose access. This is a great chance to try out some characters you may not have and hopefully you like them enough to go buy!

I feel like this is actually put in by the developers,because giving to detail,it looks like it would be something when choosing characters in any of the character menus in any other lego game,lets just hope this doesn't get patched and removed

0:47 I had a different glitch work for me. No idea how this happened, but the block puzzle at the Wayne mansion party weren't pushable for some reason. I just phased right through it and got the Gold brick. I hadn't even gotten other sets, yet.

You actually can play as every character currently inthe game. If you take Peter Venkman and fall off, you can play as the other Ghostbusters, same with B.A. Barracus for the A-Team.

That was intentional. They even made it a game mechanic in ghostbusters 2016.

Huh, was playing as Homer using this glitch and got sent to the Simpsons level pack. The level even saved on the level select.

I can imagine a great level and world. The only thing that would be difficult would be abilities, weapons, and the decision of whether to make the movie the new version or the old version. I would love to see them somehow allow a mixture of both. Half Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and half Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Same if Willy Wonka was a character. I would like to see a Gene Wilder lego figure with a Johnny Depp Version skin.

in the mystery dimension you can turn into Homer and make him a giant Homer then turn into gandalf and when you go to the Simpsons world hold triangle and you will unlock all the characters in Simpsons world

There's a glitch in Lego dimensions at the beginning of the game before you enter the wizard of oz level you have to do a homing attack as sonic into the portal and it will ask you to go to a random hub world then pick yes and your in this only works at the beginning of the game.

(It's so simple) Do what he does but you need to have all of the ad-ons, then become one of the year two characters, and it will say """""arena unlocked!!! Hope this helped, you can unlock all and go into them by the way, tested

If this is a glitch, won't the developers just patch it so they avoid people from cheating? Can you bring the characters you don't own to the main hub to unlock their worlds for free?

I hope it isn't patched, and no you cannot bring them outside the mystery dimension but once you change into a year 2 character, you will be able to go to the character's adventure world.

I don't think this is a glitch, I think it's a clever way to let you demo the characters, Take notice the Ghost Buster girls are separate selection and the character selection menu looks well not a glitch and if you exist the game, only the gadget you had with you follow you, Unless I'm missing something, I think still think it's there to let you demo the characters and some of the all in ones are split, I like this, it means I can better decide who to get.

It's 100% a glitch, otherwise they wouldn't make it so hidden to get to it and it wouldn't unlock the Battle Arena's people otherwise did not own. Not a feature.

It's 100% a glitch. - It's well hidden - If it was intentional, why would they give away free permanent content ( Battle Arenas ) - It was probably used for TT Games to test out the characters - It's using that character selection because they have a " base " plate for all LEGO games, and it was automatically in there, so they just use it to test, but disable it for the final project. - They probably forgot to leave this one out

You *can* change to the vehicles, you just can't change it back I believe.

I think the glitch is activated through remains of an engine which I dub the LEGO Engine and I can tell that modders will probably get the engine narrowed down to the basics and releasing the LEGO Engine to the public. Since Green Arrow & Supergirl are both part of year 2, I think the wave 10 they'll be released for retail at stores.
