Lego Friends 2022 Theme Song Lyric Video - 'Better Together' (Heartlake Stories) 

the scariest part here is when you realize that the producers learned that they can present and advertise the 'lego sets' better using low-budget minidoll 'specials' rather than pixar-quality 'Girls On A Mission' animations, means that there is a big chance they might abandon GOAM for good. :(

When you thought it couldn't get any worse, I personally only ever liked the original lego friends but then again I did grow up with it, but this just feels so low in quality compared to anything lego has made before, it's as if they think kids won't notice and will want the products their aiming to market anyway, idk

So girls on a mission ended and this is like a reboot? That's pretty sad, especially since I grew up and got used to girls on a mission and a little of the old Lego friends series, but I guess this is better than discontinuing Lego friends like they did with Lego Elves

Catchy song and me wanting an extended version of the song aside, guess our predictions for 2022 LEGO Friends were right all along. The Girls on a Mission era is definitely over, as seen with the sets and we will forever miss a good LEGO show that we loved watching throughout our 2 years of being confined at our homes. Since I first watched the first special, I'm thinking to myself, is this a soft reboot of Girls on a Mission? Or this is another actual reboot? Is the Holiday Special could also be the pilot episode for this new series? Also, as I've watched through the first three specials, I've noticed some details are kinda off when you compared the special with the previous versions: Despite Savannah being a blind person in general, isn't completely blind in Special #1, but she's still dependent on Goldie and wearing glasses that conceals her eyes in the earlier scenes of the special. But, in the later scenes, she's able to see normally and can able to perfectly create tacos and juices without struggle. It's just odd and devoid of logic unless if she's not completely blind as I initially thought, unlike her Girls on a Mission counterpart who is completely blind and has a keen sense of hearing, Mia and Daniel are no longer siblings in Special #2, as shown with Mia simply greeting Daniel and recognizing they're not siblings, The Girls themselves have major personality differences in the specials, Sebastian could be a potential replacement for Julian, Evelyn could be replacing Ethan, a random red-haired guy in Special #3 who's Olivia's friend, reminded me of Jacob from the classic show, perhaps, paying homage to him or not, a rude lifeguard who reminded me of Franco from the classic show, yet his mannerisms are worse than him, as shown with insulting numerous people in the water park not just Stephanie. He should also be fired from the water park for his rude behavior, the Friendship Treehouse is bigger than the set itself, Dottie Rae herself no longer wears a headband, and has a curly hair instead. Aside from the details that I've noticed, I also find some moments funny like: Olivia roasting the rude lifeguard, Mia using a piece of cloth to prevent the ship from sinking which obviously doesn't make any sense, and Jackson laughing maniacally like Olivia when he let the bees enter the treehouse. And lastly, my thoughts for this new series is kinda mixed, since the animation style reminded me of LEGO Elves' from seasons 3 and 4. I still prefer the classic and the Girls on a Mission shows than this since they don't have character development, and they are more realistically human-like... Edit: Even though 2022 LEGO Friends is going "downhill", the sets are still great to collect, as a fan, just so I can get the characters...

Is it just me or do the girls seem a little out of character in these episodes?

Well I guess this means G3 of Lego Friends is officially here. Right off the bat I feel like this version has a much higher focus on diversity and representation, they are even trying to balance the gender ratios by having more male characters and giving focus to character outside the main 5 friends. The dialogue is also a bit edgier, I even heard jokes about killing and dynamite, it was surreal! The setting is also way more Lego like than the older series, these aren't human characters living in the real world, they are straight up Lego girls in a Lego world. Diversity is great but this show's *way* too heavy handled about just judging by these first 3 episodes. If you truly show diversity, you don't need to literally tell the audience "We are so diverse!" I'm paraphrasing but they did actually say something near identical to this. I'm cool with the the edger dialogue but the plot progression wasn't that great. Then again, I don't think the plot has ever been Lego Friend's strong suit. And to be fair, Lego Friends was never my cup of tea (I'm a Ninjago kind of guy) so it was unlikely that this new version was ever going to appeal to me. I'd be very interested to hear what actual Lego Friends think about this new direction however, their views are certainly more valid than my perspective here.

Tbh I am not really excited for the series. I understand their trying to making it be divorce but still I don’t like how Stephane’s (Ik I spelled her name wrong lol) and Mia’s hair looks alike. I do understand that their using a cheaper animation but still didn’t really catch my interest. They don’t focus on the girls anymore. This is what I think about it. I feel like the girls look kinda similar. The theme songs not bad though

As a former Lego friends og, this new reboot is just a advertisement to sell sets, it’s not even giving any sort of plot development to the story. In on of the episodes, you could move full on houses and stack them on to each other, it’s creative yes, but it’s losing its shine throughout the years. Lego friends GOAM and the original were much better and more exciting than this. I also feel like they are pushing it with the color and gender diversity. If we could actually get a single set with 2 boys, that would make me happy. It would be showing that boys can play with it too. And besides Andrea and Olivia looked white washed compared the the regular series’s. I’m happy they are including more things, but they could definitely at least put their old personalities in, like Mia is now some basic Instagram red-head, and Olivia is not creating or doing something science-y. It’s sad that they took away the girl’s different aspects. I’m excited that we get new sets, just GOAM series would be awfully and more pleasingly better than this.

superhero girlfriends, were your best creation! I always imagined myself as one of them, I watched the series endlessly and came up with scripts for new series myself. I don’t know how many days in a row I cried when I found out that there would be no more of them, and when I saw new ones, it became even sadder. Honestly, just looking at the description of the new episodes (Because I dont have time to watch it yet) These episodes arent the same. Even the voice actors sound similar. Lately, I also feel like they've been forcing too much gender equality and diversity. I just feel like, it's just not the same. Im losing hope for Lego Friends, if they end, I would be really sad. I still like the episodes, but they dont have the same vibes. It's a bit disappointing, but that's really all I have to say. And please do not take any offense from this comment!! :)

I'd love the song so much!. I'd remembered just as yesterday, i just checked out the lego official channel yesterday and saw that they were doing this!. Never thaught i would find it very catchy and i was actually kind of wondering myself, i didn't expected to get this from them because lego friends isn't kinds of exactly like is known for their lego ish inspired show like this like they did with ninjago, city etc. I'd really hope they didn't end the girls on a mission reboot ones, the last latest episodes were just about for around 7, which is I asked myself, where's the rest of them ?. Aren't they usually released so many and alot ? :'). I'd really hope that this is not signs of the franchise is going to end soon, i love friends so much, growing up with the originals and currents ones are totally mades me wanted to collected more sets from this theme!

For some reason I like this show, I do hate a few things, the characters turning into actual Minidolls and the design of the characters. Olivia and Andrea were the ones that stayed the same kinda like girls on a mission. If they changed the design, they should have released the designs for the newer old generation sets of Lego Friends. I know it would have so much hatred but why would the designs change and not keep the old designs?

I'm not a fan of this new seris . I mean where's my boi Ethan ???? Apart from that, I'm sad the girls are split up and the animation style is just not for me. I get they needed to add more diversity but they could have easily done that with girls on a mission. It's sad girls on a mission turned into a marketing campaign. I miss my childhood the power of friendship ( especially livi and the songs ) and I'm so sad Ethan is no longer part of the show . Anyway love your videos .

I don't like this new generation of Lego freinds there like focusing too much on diversity etc like it's good but it's too much, they've started to make Lego freinds loose the special charm they've always had and this is just annoying. The og Lego freinds will forever stay in my heart these boring and generic specials suck
