It’s cause the Super Heroes theme is one theme. So they choose to do Marvel over DC. Also somehow Harry Potter is one of the top themes each year 🤷‍♂️

And yeah I’m not knocking Lego Harry Potter, it’s what got me into Lego in the first place, I just wish Lego would come up with a better reason beyond the supposed movie reason- especially when besides Gotg3 and Spiderman NWH, marvel movies have been doing as well as post Zack Snyder Dceu movies

I think the bathroom and the huffle puff common room not being walled off is nice because those are kind of throw away rooms for me but putting classrooms like the potion class under there without having to necessarily pick and choose seems really nice.

One thing I love about this era of Harry Potter sets is how we're getting so many obscure characters i wasn't too familiar with. I have no idea who Penny Parkinson, Terry Boot, or Liann are, but I'm so happy they're a part of these LEGO sets because there's so much more to Hogwarts than just The Main Trio, Draco, and Luna.

I am in heaven 😍 I love the new Great Hall and the potions classroom. I wasnt too keen on the new Diagon Alley sets cos I already have the big one but I really loved Weasleys wizard wheezes when I got it and this Ollivanders looks great too. I think it's kinda lame that for Harry Potter, we get two minifigs and no new pieces for 20 dollars, but for Ninjago we get 3 minifigs, new pieces and colors, all for 15 dollars, don't get me wrong, I love Ninjago.

Great review of the sets and I agree with you but those midsized DA sets although very cute are not as good as the full sized DA set. I do really like the exterior of the great hall but do not like the smaller interior. Love the ship but prefer the earlier carriage. Definitely getting the classroom as it seems I am talking myself out of the others 😂. Wondering what that other set is?
