Thank you very much. That would be very cool to make and watch once done, but it would be also a huge amount of work for just one person, especially with stop-motion technique I had to use due of my old pc. Just thinking about building every set of an episode (virtual or not it has to be made piece by piece anyway) would be a full time job of months, even with other people would involved. Making a crowfounding about it, even if would be successful, would result in a waste of time and money, bc it would gain attention resulting in a copyright strike, both by Mattel and maybe LEGO also, as it happened to James Eatock with his "Return of Faker", wich is was a shame because, from the clips I saw, it was great. This one is still here only bc is a small thing and it's clear thate there aren't intentions to make any money out of it. I don't even know how they didn't muted the audio track bc, the 2 or 3 times I uploaded the firsts scenes to check how they would look on streaming, even if they were not public and only visible to me, the copyright muted them always after a day or so.
Thanks, man. A videogame about "the Secret of the Sword" movie with Easter eggs here and there made in a funny LEGO style. Nuff said. Eg: 1st stage/tutorial: "Help Adam to find the ingredients for his spice bread" and so on. How cool it would be?
@@JoeAmatoCustomCreations You surely know better than me how socials work, lol. Fun fact: Your name didn't sound new to me but I didn't know where did I read it. Then I realized I'm already a subscriber of the "Filmation He-Man and She-Ra fans" page, lol. Btw, I hope I didn't look ungrateful or rude because I would had already thanked you and Aaron there for the sharing, but yesterday I had an issue with FB and I can't comment for now. So double thank you here! 😉
@@liberalmonk839 - for sure I wanted them, Constux He-Man is way cool, much like original toys and they have so many cool figures and vehicles too, and they are often on clearance at the walmart, but if Lego made He-Mans...wow, thanks to this guy I have a new desire, an unscratchable itch, I want Lego He-Man.
Mega Construx has better mini-figures. That fact, at least, is indisputable. Also Mega Brands is partnered with (if not owned by) Mattel, so I don't think they'll be losing the rights to that franchise any time soon...
I'm really glad a MOTU AFOL liked my creation. Feel free to spread the word, bro. Btw, stay tuned because in a few days I'm gonna upload a comparison video with the original intro, and judging by your nickname, I guess you're gonna have fun checking it frame by frame.😉
Thank you. I'm trying to spread it but since I'm not so active on YT, I guess I'm not the #1 favourite of the algorithm. I'll keep on trying because, as the title card says, this is dedicated "To all kids, big and small".
if we had a Lego 3 movie, this would be a perfect fit for that; not only would it use more lego versions of our favorite shows, and movies, but I think it would also promote a new lego version of both Masters of the Universe, and Princess of Power as well.
Well, not only that way my first thought as soon as I finished this, but I also started to put together the best pieces I could find to make all of the character's heads (there are more inhuman heads in her opening) and build a fully poseable Spirit/Swift Wind in scale with her, and also see what trick I had to use to move She-Ra arms during the transformation (the most important part) and still respect the LEGO minifigs range of motion... But the project is stuck there bc I don't have time to proceed any further.
Hi, Andree. Yes, you read that in German because I've translated both the title and the subtitles in several languages, including yours, so if you're watching the video from one of the countries I've added, RU-vid dectects it and automatically shows it in that specific language. For example, here in Italy, they read the title in Italian. The actual video is in English though. Between editing the other audio tracks of the video and the translations, I must have forgotten to add "ENG" to the video title. Now I've fixed it in all the languages. Thank you.
Yeah, tell me about it. If it wasn't so time consuming and I had the resources, I would had already done a whole episode just to show more clearly the potential fun of such a project. Even without an original story it would be a already fun to watch how some movements were translated in LEGO form. But I'm thinking about making a She-Ra intro tho.
Me too! And it's the exact reason why I started to work on this. I saw so many custom MOTU minifigs online; some really cool, some really cheap, but all of them had something that LEGO wouldn't do. Over aggressive expressions, generic features, too many details, lines too thick or too thin, etc. I wanted to make it look as closest as possible to an official one. So I studied a lot of LEGO minifigs and how the details of a human face are stylized in the few lines avaible to draw a LEGO minifig. I had a lot of limitations with the Lego Digital Designer, like I can't put any decal on the rounded part of the face. I tried to find a compromise anyway. After I was ok with He-Man I started with Skeletor and while I was checking his face from all the sides, scrolling his head up and down, I imagined his: "Myah-ha-ha!" and thought "Well, this looks like the ending of the intro... Well, why not?" and here we are. 😊
Mattel owns rights to He-man and they own Mattel. which owns Mega Construx. Mattel doesn't have to worry about contracts and licenses when they can make them in house.
Hahahah! Thank you. I didn't liked the 200X version at first (and the NF one gives me a lot of vibes of it) but the stories were a huge step forward in MOTU mythology and I get used to it. So now I'm cool with the NF version. But the bar is set very high. We'll see how it turns out.
@@CiskyFCC I am not a big he man or motu fani do like watching it but affording the toys is usually a no go but i do have 4 of the new origins. ATM slaving away for a 3d scanner so i can make customs with my toys i did some already but if i 3d print them i dont think they will fit. I like the MOTU lego animation its NOICE!!!! its got that "FEEL" vibe its new BUT its got that olde cheesey school look and feel to it
