Today I have a suspension for you! It's not the best independent suspension you can make! It's a bit weak and not so compact! That is my first independent suspension whit drive and steering!
Camera: Canon ixus 220 HS.
Edite: Windows live Movie maker.

Oh wow! I liked it, literally! --Surprisingly this looks like something you could work on to improve, but still! Great job mate

Instructions please? It's hard to figure out what pieces to use by trying to find the exact point of the video where it shows a part.

Good work. I'm intrigued - does the steering geometry change when the suspension is active (do the wheel angles change based on suspension position). Also, did I see right that there's Ackerman geometry at play? If you can, sen the .ldd to pekka AT buttler DOT fi.

Awsome! Check out this video if you want to build independent suspension. Its simple and easy and peaices that you probably have.

the wheels are not inline, one is toed out more than the other.

Got any strong ones that can withstand huge torque? Been trying to make one myself. The differential gear shaft keeps poping out. Yours in the video looks great but I've tryied the like.

This is the only "bigger" independent suspension system i have made. Could try to make som more heavy duty one once. :)

I suggest the16&24tooth differential. It's stronger

+DesignJunkie58 Aww! Would love to make and post something now. But there is a but; Lack of time and interest. Got something cool in my mind ATM, but not sure if it's possible to make.

Aren't the arms, from the piece that house the axle connected to the wheel, weak since they are only half a stud long?
@LEGOTechnic360
@LEGOTechnic360 7 лет назад
You are right. I did add that brace between the upper and lower arm, so it wasn't a problem.

Which set did you use? Can you please give me information about exactly which Lego set did you use?
@LEGOTechnic360
@LEGOTechnic360 8 лет назад
I have to say that I used parts from my collection of LEGO Technic parts, so I did not use parts from any specific set.
@triloksuryawanshi3971

Oh! Great! Actually I'm so interested in things like Zypher Mechanix and Lego technic such that I often make new things from those sets using my own ideas. Actually Lego technic is more advanced and detailed than Mechanix.
