Ah I remember the days Back in elementary school, not a care in the world No stress, very little homework All the free time one could want And it was spent playing this masterpiece
Same.. I had it on the Xbox 360, but we can never find that or the game anymore and it's really old. I bought the pack of all 3 games on the and all dlcs a few days ago with some saved up allowance money, it's time to re-visit those days.
Yeah, I kind of hate admitting that this is my favorite LEGO game because people will bombard me with messages like “WHAT DO YOU MEAN EVERY 2012+ LEGO GAMES SUCK LEGO STAR WARS THE COMPLETE SAGA WILL REIGN SUPREME!” I do think The Complete Sags is a wonderful game, but it is a little overrated.
Doctor straing Strange True, sorry for my little rant there. But yeah, I kinda miss being stupid and oblivious. I played this game before I knew that Batman was part of DC. Lol
Blazer dude same. I was wondering where Superman was throughout the game. Then I played LEGO Batman 2 and I learned which characters are DC and which are Marvel
@@billdaboss5013 I see. By the way he worded that sentence, I thought his heart had broken while listening to this track as a kid. That's what confused me lol.
Both my sisters and my brother loved playing it with me. We even came up with random minigames. Sometimes one of us would hide, we would cover up the minimaps, and the other person would have to find them and kill them. I spent so much time in this world that I even found a glitch of my own that I haven't seen anyone else in the world talk about.
I remember this game with so much nostalgia. I remember the custom characters, acting as if I was my own spider man. Finish all my homework then rushing to my Xbox 360. 2:57 I still remember going to Stark tower. Headed to the Skatepark with my NPC friends. Role Playing THE Spider man. Going on missions, it was the time to have fun. Me and my cousin playing games, trying to go out the map, that one venom mission. Good old times man, wish I could go back.
@@Jaden6699 I feel you. My Nintendo DSi crashes immediately after I load a game and my favourite game of all time, Zombie Farm, even though it’s the 2nd version, cannot load on my iPad
Oh yeah I remember 2:57 when I was playing as the red hulk on the street just destroying random cars and playing flyable characters to fly all the way up to the Helicarrier
Man that is exactly how i remenbered it. I used to play this game on xbox 360 when i was younger and i remember in vacation it was so hot and we used the ventilating thing and i felt so good while playing Lego Marvel Superheroes.
@Farouk Go same. We would turn on our Ps3 in the Family Room and play this with the air conditioner on. We had a pool so we would always swim after. I live in a different house now.
“That is one cheesy outfit” “Ugh watch it buddy” “Superhero’s? In New York?” “TELL MY MOM I LOVE HER” “Look Timmy it’s that.. hero you like” “Isn’t he amazing” “Sure take my car, super hero business right?” “Hey I’m walking here!” Hearing those voices bring back memories
"He doesn't look as tall in real life." "Hey, its what's his face? Insect-Boy!" "Who'd win in an angry off? The Hulk or Nick Fury?" "Who's cooler? Silver Surfer or Ice Man?"
5:34 hits hard, I remember hearing this while I would be behind the X Mansion in the little forest and shore area at the edge of the island in New York, damn the nostalgia hits hard and it was so relaxing
Trying to start on getting 100% and starting on the top of the map, but unable to find the vehicle token because it was underground in a cave. *AWESOME* times that were.
Now that you can snag this game for $20 you don't really have an excuse not to buy this game if your a Marvel fan. Plus it's a LEGO game! There's always a shit-ton of post-game content to do so it's worth the money!
It has been at least 5 years since I last heard one of these songs.. they hit hard(especially 2:57). I used to play this game with my twin brother all day, it was our first steam game and we played it on our dad's pc. Lego games really were and will always be a big part of my childhood, i have so many great memories about lego games, lego batman 2, lego harry potter, lego pirates of the caribbean, lego indiana jones... I can't help but feel like life was easier back then, more pure, even. I miss those days
@@StarGamerX17 Unfortunately I haven't played lego batman 1. A few years ago we preordered lego dc super villains and relived the old times. I'm afraid we won't be able to do something like that anymore, though
I REALLY want to know who composed these. Holy shit. I had a PS3 for practically all my life. This is the only game i played on it, and only played the freeroam. Whoever composed this basically made my entire childhood.
I hope they third game brings back the X men and the FF. I want this one to be the last game and the most epic. Bring back the soundtrack, the costumes, the characters, the writers of the first game, the free roam, character interactions... Let this be the epic ending of a marvelous trilogy, childhood for so many.
@Doctor straing Strang judging by how the free roam will be in TSS, we can only hope that it will be the full LEGO Marvel version of the USA. That would be cool!
This is so nostalgic for me I remember when I was 6 and played this game for hours until my eyes hurt just trying to get all the characters and side missions done
I used to play this game ALL THE TIME. All day long. I used to go around in free roam. I played on my dad's save file, which wasn't quite 100%, but it was somewhere in the 90% category. I just went into free roam. I played as various characters for HOURS on end, just making up stories in my end while running around, I sometimes even talked out loud when I did that... I didn't really have the music on much, but I remember this music sometimes when I used to play. I also remember being scared of that giant blue and purple robot that you can summon in certain places around the map. This game will always be in my heart.
“Flame On!” - Human Torch “Oh Yeah.” - Iron Man “HULK SMAAASH!” - Hulk “I have a theory about everything.” - Mister Fantastic “My Spidey Sense is tingling. What is it?” - Spider-Man “I’ll spangle you until you see stars!” - Captain America “Not my planet, bub.” - Wolverine
It’s been a decade since I’ve heard that song. I remember when my dad got an Xbox 360 for the both of us, I would play this game night and day, flying around as my custom character I even remember that we had a secret base in the area where the big mansion would be and I and my dad would go out on missions everything about it was so… pure and nostalgic. I remember when I and dad would constantly play the game just so we could unlock characters and then play as them. I miss those times so much. thank you
Me too, I grew up playing them in my preteen years. I personally enjoyed Lego Star Wars the most (because it was the first Lego game I played). Lego Marvel Superheros was also pretty good with the free roam, though.
I know your comment is old, but I just wanted to say Lego Star Wars was also my first lego game, and even one of the first games I've ever played. Ever since then, I've played almost every lego game.
THE WHOLE VIDEO RADIATES NOSTALGIA I swinging around as spider-man, or flying around as Iron Man, or running around as Black Widow turning invisible to solve the security camera puzzles. Every time you jumped it would do that swishing noise. I remember the bonus level where you played as Dock Ock and I think Agent Coulson and just cleaned up the Daily Bugle. Reminds me of peaceful days. I'm turning 13 in November. Say what you want about "AwWw YoUr StIlL a KiD yOu StIlL hAvE yOuR cHiLdHoOd" and whatever, but it will *NEVER* be the same.
I remember there was a glitch you could do to become a citizen and me and a friend would have a little game of basically guess who, and the terrifying part was having big fig venom chase you down
I wanted tjis game for 5 years and i finally pirated it on my laptop. I almost cried when it started because its my childwood fream to play it 😍. Lego marvel super heroes forever!!!!!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I remember buying this game just because we could fly freely, and god damn it was the best choice I made in my life (i ended up completing it and exploring every bit of the game by using out of bounds glitches)
I hear you. My parents are divorced and when i was 6 i used to go to my dads house and play this on my PS3. I used to love flying around as iron man and seeing if i could fly to the helicarrier. The story was great, the music, phenomenal and the characters were amazing. Im defo replaying this!
“Huh? He doesn’t look as tall in real life.” “Not cool!” “Oh, look what the kids are wearing these days!” “Hulk? More like HUNK.” “Is it a bird?” “Is it a plane?” “GEE WHIZ!” “You’d ever wonder if there’s more to life than collecting gold bricks all day? “Man I’m hungry!” “Who keeps leaving these trails of money around?” “That is one CHEEZY outfit!” “I’ve been playing video games solid for the last few days. Who’s this Galactus fellow I keep hearing about? Apparently he was causing trouble but it’s okay now?” “He’s alright I suppose?” “Watch it buddy!” “Superheroes? In New York?” “Is that-“ “Look Timmy it’s that hero you like!” “Hey, I’m walking here!” “Hey, it’s what’s his name? Insect Boy! “Oh my gosh.” Oh I sure hope this city doesn’t plunge into some terrible apocalyptic danger anytime soon.” “Ah, isn’t he amazing?” “Iron Man? Ha! Sounds like a domestic product to me!” “Who would win in a fight between the Statue of Liberty and Galactus?” “So real spiders swing around the city? The thought of that doesn’t help my arachnophobia!” “Hey, it’s what’s his name? Admiral America!” “We should go check out that circus that’s in town!” “Okay, I’m just saying that my superpower would be way cooler than yours!” “Hey Tony! It’s a crazy Spider-Man!” “I just saw someone who looked exactly like me, it’s like they could’ve been my twin.” “Hey, it’s what’s his name? Candle Man!” “YEAH!” “Hi heroes!” “What came first? Howard or the egg?” “What time are you staying till?” “Boo, ha ha!” “That guy doesn’t look so good!” “It’s pretty small if it is.” “Sure, take my car! Superhero business, right?” “Wow, a superhero! Sure, take my car!” “I only had my driving license for 10 minutes!” “Woah, a supervillain! RUN AWAY!” “Tell my mom I love her!” “It’s the end of the world!” “RUN FOR YOUR LIIIIIIIIIIVES!” -Civilians Let me know if I missed any
Thank you so much for letting me relive my childhood! I remember before my dad stopped playing games with me and did his own thing as a child him and I would play a bunch of Lego games, this being one of them. He would always play the boards but all I really wanted to do was make custom characters and roam around Manhattan. As long as I could do that, I was happy. Now I want to play this game just to bring back my childhood. 🥰
Man, i miss this game. Every day, asking my mom if my friends can come over. We always played this game. Throwing caps shield and running away so it cant catch up. Swinging like spider man. Making the biggest traffic jams by putting a single car in the middle of the road. Getting every character. Getting 1 billion coins. I played this game like it was gta. No girls, no dirty minds, just me and my friends playing the greatest game ever.
I knew my friends were able to play gta when I was 10. My parents didn’t allow me to play gta. But I could play this. And honestly, It’s so much better.
Me and my grandma used to play this all day the the Wii u on Saturdays then we would go out for lunch OHHHHHHH the good times no troubles at all just living
I remember that in this game you could sit in the top turret of the hydra tank, have someone else blow the bottom up and you were guaranteed to go outside the map, if you go to the right spot, there is also a mysterious floating stool, thats pretty much it though, if you flew to one of the neighboring cities you could see that they all were textured and interestingly enough, flying outside the map towards the mountains will take like 20:00 but if you do it you can reach the true end of the map and a cool little easter egg
I remember getting this game on my birthday when I was like 10 years old, I really loved this game to the point where I managed to get every single character and all the gold bricks
I used to roleplay by myself on this game. I miss when i was simple minded and dumb. things were so much better. barely any work, tons of free time, and I found anything fun. even running around destroying things in new york and pretending to be villains and heroes.
I remember sooo many year ago me and my brother beat the game 8 times, beat the free roam, and just vibed, sometimes we raced,or fought, whatever,it never got old is all i know
@@cheesesteak983 I felt the same way. The first game just has that "feel" to it. The lack of X-Men and Fantastic 4, and the change of voice actors in the sequel did not work for me.
@@seal9454 ikr but the sequel was just the mcu, not the whole of marvel, also that comment up there was from 1 year ago and apparently i didn't know it was different music.
nDocks still play this godly game. Love the open world in it. It helps me calm down and have a good feeling cause this game was where the most memories were to be shared. My cousins loved this game and so did I. My favorite Lego game
DaRk_NiGhTwInG_XL indeed. My first owned Lego game was Lego Batman 2 which was very fun. Tbh the main thing as to why I got them were for the open worlds. It was especially fun with other people to play with. Now of course the one that stands out the most is Lego Marvel. We played the shit out of the game. So many fun times together. I wish I could go back 😢
@@cheesesteak983 facts😭 never played Lego batman 2 but all I can say is that the hub in Lego Batman 2 is better than Lego Batman 3 I played Lego Batman 3 but Lego marvel super heroes is just amazing u prefer this game over lego marvel super heroes2
This is my absolute favorite Lego game. I remember when I would play this game after school with my friend. Whenever I hear these tracks, a massive wave of nostalgia hits me. Good times.
Like I remember when I played this game on the Xbox 360 and I remember all the levels. The 1st level you fight Sandman the 2nd level you fight Dr. Octopus the 3rd level you fight venom like I can keep going. Damn, I miss this game😫😪So nostalgic!
