Instructions are now available for my 1:12 scale X figure from Mega Man X, as seen on my LEGO Ideas Mega Man X 30th Anniversary project.
This LEGO brick-built action figure of the Mega Man X series' protagonist, X, has authentic articulation with its many joints, plus various details and accessories from the game series:
- X-Buster with normal and charged shot effects.
- Extra normal arm and hand for when X is not equipped with the X-Buster.
- Four changeable facial expressions (normal, angry, shouting, and smiling) for normal X and for his upgraded helmet.
- Open hands and fists, in white for normal X and blue for Full Armor X.
- Full Armor upgrade parts (head, body, arm, and foot) with the super charge shot effect.
- Posing stand for air poses and stability.
- Display plaque with a quote from the ending of the first MMX game.
- Mini diorama with a heart tank, sub tank, and 1-up with 16-bit face plate.
- Light Capsule for X to stand in.
The figures take inspiration from Japanese model kit figures of X and Zero, and the armor-swapping ability works in similar fashion to the Bandai Mega Armor kits in the mid-1990s. But being LEGO, you can build any armor upgrades or weapons you can imagine to power-up X in your own creative style!
