It feels so satisfying hearing Tom Cruise’s voice come out of his LEGO variant, I also love how they got Henry Czerny to voice Kittridge for this level pack.
A complete 1-6 would be a mission accomplished, there's so much potential, I can see the characters/levels and if it was to play like this it would be one great game.
The fact that this level pack is only £10 now is a steal, this is by far one of the best level packs in dimensions, the others would be adventure time and portal Don't get me wrong fantastic beasts is good, so is the doctor and back to the future. The first three for me where must buys however fantastic beasts is an exception too.
I feel like lego dimensions was legos way of giving the fans what they wanted without having to take the effort of making a full game for each franchise. Which sucks because movies like mission impossible and back to the future would've made phenomenal lego games. Another series I would love to see which was never in lego dimensions is karate kid.
@@timrob12 Peter is also older than Tom. and I'm saying Capaldi here. funny enough, 1 of the doctor people actually also is named Tom, which was Tom Baker, him and the other person with the same last name actually hated each other. in element, if anyone in the Lego universe had powers, even controls dark matter, which means he's in the dark element. Peter controls lightning. funny enough, he sounds almost identical to shockwave, which is my favorite transformer of all time. And I'm referring to the voice by Cory Burton. funny enough, I actually followed Dr Peter on Instagram, but Ethan did completely different for something. And he has a family account, and he freaking followed me on Twitter, and we barely speak to each other. I am hoping to get my hands on him in physical form if he allows it.
This level is way longer than the levels from last year, especially Back to the Future, which got severely screwed. They ought to redo the BTTF level and make it more like this.
They do appear in this in this pack, specifically the Mission: Impossible Adventure World. They just don't appear in this story mode, as they were not in the 1996 Mission: Impossible film.
@@wood8216 This game had so much more potential for other level and story packs but sadly the writing was on the wall in regards to the whole toys to life genre slowing down in popularity ie oversaturation of the market and sales not up to what WB was hoping they would be.
Great video,Pack!I love all the LEGO games and I played all ;)...not this because I don't have a PS4.But your videos are great! P.S. What "Mission Impossible" movie is this?? :)
awesome level. but I hate it when they use sound clips instead of voice actors. its not that hard to do a Tom Cruise impression, and since it's a Lego game you can go over the top with it and it fits.
The sound clips sound fine. And it's not that it's "that hard to do a Tom Cruise impression." They just didn't require any new dialogue for Ethan Hunt, so they went for the most practical option. Either that or they didn't want to recast Tom Cruise, as he's the most recognizable actor and star of the films.
I predict that Viacom will take this video down, since ANYTHING they own (Including Mission Impossible) and if they find it on RU-vid they take it down.
Honestly this would have been better as a separate game. Hell this is the longest level pack in the game and If there was a Lego Mission Impossible, the first film would probably be split into five or six levels.
Luther Stickell: you reach your folks? how are they feeling? Ethan Hunt: about what? Luther Stickell: apology Justice Department VIP treatment you know a whole nine yards Ethan Hunt: well my Mom was a little confused how the DEA could mistake her and Uncle Donald for a couple of dope smugglers to Florida Keys Luther Stickell: 🙂 Cheers 🍻 Ethan Hunt: 🙂 to you Luther 🍻 you're no longer Disavow Luther Stickell: hey i'm a flavor of a month why don't you come back with me?
Tom Cruise's voice and likeness has never been used in a video game. How the hell did LEGO get permission, or the rights, from Paramount Studios to use his sound clips from the the first Mission Impossible?!?
I question how you even got this level pack even though it’s like, what? $30.00? I think he has to complete the story in order to play the mission, but he can still play as Ethan during the story.
Jacob Spagnotti yeah the mystery machine was there too. Doc Brown was in the Ghostbusters 2016 level 1, and and Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle could be seen in the Adventure Time level.
I'm playing the game on the Wii U and i dont know what button to press when Phelps grabs Ethan I cant see it on my tv screen its too small so Im stuck at that part.
yes and it was one of the most earliest and most brutal deaths in a pg movie . Cause of death: impealed by electric rods and then his dead corps got crushed by the elevator. DEFENEITLY pg
My xbox won't recognize the character. I took it back and tried another and same thing. apparently it's a known issue, at least with PS4. Anyone else having issues with it? I can't even use this level pack. It keeps saying content needs to be downloaded but it never shows up in the download area.
i wanna get that but first i gotta get gollum legolas gimli from lord of the ring emmet bad cop unikitty from lego movie red black white sensei wu nya or summeri x green ninja from ninjago peter venkman slimer stay puff from old ghostbuster before new midway arcade doc brown from back to the future cyberman from doctor who superman cyborg aquaman and im not sure were should i get supergirl and green arrow from dc
jonatan noi Snorrason green arrow you can only get from conventions and supergirl from the PS4 starter pack and why don't you just get it now and the rest of year 2 or just get who you want
Like it or not, both films treated their respective characters like shit. I LOVE the first Mission Impossible film, but I understand why old fans would hate it. Jim Phelps turn to villainy sounds like a complete 180 of who he was in the TV series. Much like how TLJ betrayed who Luke Skywalker is.
@@bruhfeld9600 The only difference between the two is that TLJ did NOT actually betray who Luke was as a character. The flashback is consistent with his repeatedly demonstrated instinct of rushing headfirst to save his friends when they are in danger and eliminate any threat to them, no matter who they are or any familial relation. That said, at least TLJ Luke stopped himself from carrying out that instinct sooner than he ever did in the OT.
@@dvader518hi non-star wars fan but casual movie watcher here. The thing with me is as the “average person” my problem with that plot point is in the logic of the series I felt like Luke had already wrapped up his character arc in the movies I’ve already seen, so when I go into the new movie and see a geriatric have to redo a character arc from 1983 which couldve been used to give screentime to their 50 other underdeveloped characters I feel like it was kind of a waste to redo the flaws I as a viewer expected him to have fixed by the end of Jedi Also we’re comparing what they did to Jim Phelps in MI1 to what they did to Luke in TLJ. One is a classic spy thriller based off of a tinpot 60s show no one had seen, the other is a sequel to one of the most famous films ever. It’s also well within the right of the original cast to criticize a film if they had first ownership of those characters
@@maydaymemer4660 First, the show lasted for 7 seasons and got a revival. Second, Luke didn't redo his arc from the OT. Besides, we can't expect people to make a mistake and then never make that mistake again.
