Fun fact: The VA who played Master Subodhi also played the Cabbage Merchant in ATLA. Guess he finally got a chance to bonk Sokka (also MK's VA) in another life😂

@@khanhuyen-co7ftDo you mean explain this scene (8:56)? Well, if you think about how he tells Mei to consider "slowing down" and "taking time to think" (8:23) Subodhi deliberately provoked Mei (8:48) to make her realize how one track minded she is, causing her to reflect on her past actions. When he smiles right here (8:56) he knew that she would try to prove him wrong, which is what he wanted. In other words, he wanted Mei to think things through instead of always charging head first into the battle field.
So we see the lady making the little monkey statue, but we also see statues of other creatures. A ram, a mouse, a turtle, a bull, a rabbit, a horse, and others I cannot define. So there could be other powerful creatures like Monkey Kid and Wukong born from rocks, either born at Flower Fruit Mountain before Wukong, or at other locations. Maybe they're born in different places depending on their species, like how Wukong and Mk were born at Flower Fruit Mountain. I'd like to see if maybe the gang goes somewhere and discover a paradise similar to Flower Fruit Mountain, but different, like maybe an island covered almost entirely by lakes and rivers for some sort of aquatic creature, or an island made mostly of plains for a horse creature. I know I'm probably reading too much into it, but I think that would be really cool for them to find more people like them.
As far as I can guess about the woman, I think she’s actually Nüwa. She’s the goddess who created man out of clay and sacrificed herself to stop Heaven from falling onto Earth
@@valhatan3907Turns out,not really. "Once you leave," the Patriarch said,"you're bound to end up evildoing.I don't care what kind of villainy and violence you engage in,but I forbid you ever to mention that you are my disciple. For if you but utter half the word, I'll know about it; you can be assured, wretched monkey, that you'll be skinned alive.I will break all your bones and banish your soul to the Place of Ninefold Darkness, from which you will not be released even after ten thousand afflictions!" Not surprising, knowing the number of animals that does terrible stuff after cultivating.
@@jeremytung1632 he didn't need to earn them before hand, it's pretty funny and hilarious though. it also somewhat motivate the others to earn their stars...👓🕶️⚗️🌡️💉
