so. fun fact i’ve had several (like, three) people say that shadowpeach is inc*st. because they think that wukong and macaque are brothers? if you so much as touch the book you see that’s not the case but it’s very surprising how common that misconception is. i love shadowpeach so much and would go down with them. a lot of wukong ships are based on the journey to the west i think? since pigsy and wukong are so mean to each other a lot of people ship them in the book, and i guess is the same for wukong and tripitaka (which is really weird imo, tripitaka can’t date people bc of his religion, there’s a whole set of chapters about it) anyway
the best thing is that these probably are also exactly those people that say shipping Peachy and Plumsynoodles is ok -_- (at least i got to know exactly some of these people)
@@rubixvoid3708 Oh gawd I've read a whole controversy based on if they're siblings or not. Basically, what started it was season 4, where Wukong, Macaque, Azure, and so on, referred to each other as "brothers". Then there was this whole rant on the implications of Chinese terminology, where "brothers" was just what they labeled themselves as, even though they weren't related by blood (but like lets be real, generally speaking, its extremely weird to fall in love with someone you once called or saw as a brother), so shipping them with each other was fine according to some fans. It's a ship I refuse to touch solely because of unknown variables and implications between the two, I just like to see them as frenemies.
AND in season 4 when mk was fighting azure, mk had a gold shadow huge monkey thing, like macaque has, AND how wukong's powers mostly have gold colors, sooooo macaque and wukong are like mk parents. (In my opinion)
Shadowpeach is my favorite ship of all time and I love seeing their ship in other shows or movies! (Ex Peachbuds from Monkey King 2009) Also the trafic light trios ship name is chimera I believe!

PREACH!! besides the unconfirmed implied incest just because it could technically be seen as legal it's gross. Mk would be technically above the age to be a concenting adult ( in the uk) he is treated and behaves in a very child like manner, having nicknames and his actual name all being one's that insinuate youth and childness. Characters like Wukong, Macaque, lbd and even red son are thosands of years older than him atleast. It's gross, disgusting and should be sent to prison.
Shipping tripitaka with wukong is against the rules since tripitaka is a monk and he cannot be in a relationship like that. Tang and Wukong are actually perfectly okay since tang isn't a monk and most people describe him more as a scholar. Also their shipname is PeachTea❤
I may be 5 months late but its FINNEE, but for Tripitaka x Wukong, datiny actually goes against being a monk. So during the JTTW tripitaka is forced into marriage/S3x situations which ends up as akward since he is unable of doing so.
I enjoyed this video so much but the way you mispronounce Azure felt like a kick to the gut. I had to hold my breath to not laugh. But-just- it’s Ah-Zure with the second part said like Sure but with a Z instead. It’s not that different from Azul (blue is Spanish) Is it because of Owl House?
@@rubixvoid3708 maybe it’s a regional thing? Because I also say the color how they pronounce the name in the show. Mostly because it’s also part of the name of a semi-precious stone.
Personally I haven't heard of half of these ships but I completely agree on you with Ao Lie, Man is qpr with anyone, Also I found out that there's ClumsyShadow! (Macaque x Ao Lie), I find it adorable if it's qpr, + the name is adorable too but what are your opinions?
In my little headcanon I ship Red Son with Yellow Wind Demon, both had samadhi powers and it can be a good parallel to his parents relationship. A human like being with more beast kind of being. Also Yellow Wind could help Red Son with his powers and bring his confidence up.
Hey I just found your video and I have a ship that doesn’t appear in it, in fact I don’t see anyone in the fandom shipping this ship despite seeing the two involved in it shipped with just about everyone. It’s Chang’e x Ao Lie With Chang’e being a big fan of Wukong and Ao Lie being his sworn brother, I feel these two would have a lot to gush about, plus I feel their personalities would mesh really well together. If it had been in your list what tier would you put it in?
I actually don't realy ship wukong with any one his old companions since wukong saw them actually as brothers I think. He always called them little and big brothers in the book.
@AnimeCartoonLegoLOVEr nah I won't tell other what they can ship as long as it is not an actual real proship like Cestbull (shivers) or peachy and plumsynoodles.... It's just my personal opinion that I see them more as Platonic brothers than anything romantic. ❤
