Lego Movie World Is Now Open At Legoland Florida! | Ride POVs, Food & Characters!

In today's vlog we head to Legoland Florida for the media preview of the all new Lego Movie World, which is a whole new immersive area/land in the park. We had the opportunity to try the Taco Everyday quick serve, we had the chicken tacos, krab taco, and the sopapilla dessert. Then we rode the Masters of Flight ride, it's a flying theater attraction where we rode through different lego lands on Emmit's triple decker flying couch! Then Tim rode Unikitty's Disco Drop, which he said he liked even better than the Masters of Flight ride. Lastly we rode the Battle of Bricksburg. Which is the World of Chima water ride overlay. We got soaked on this ride! It'd definitely be a good ride for a hot summer day. Then we came back the next morning for the official grand opening of the land! There was a celebration with musical guests, lots of dancing characters & more fun. We think the Lego Movie World is a great addition to the park and we're happy that they're expanding. 2 favorite things in this video Tim telling jenn that she looked beautiful when she asked about her makeup and when he teased that he forgot to record. That reaction was priceless.

Perfect park for kids, without all the insane Disney crowds. As an adult, I just like to see all the cool Lego theming, even if most of the rides do nothing for me.

It is a pretty solid park, but due to its nature of its admittedly kind of childish theme, it doesn't have the draws that other parks have (Busch Gardens and SeaWorld have Roller Coasters, Universal has Harry Potter, Disney has legendary theming, etc.). It's hard for it to draw a crowd, especially with the teenage and thrill-seeker demographics. It's not a bad park by any means, but if you don't care for Legos, there is literally no reason to go here over somewhere like Disney or Busch Gardens.

There is a ride exactly like the water one in Silver Dollar City in Branson. They have had it for quite a few years. It is the exact same concept, with shooting targets, getting soaked, and people around the outside of the ride getting to spray water too (free as well). It is called Tom and Huck's Riverboats.

I have anxiety too Jenn and it’s horrible. I’m not joking but once I had 20 consecutive anxiety attack’s, stopping every 10 minutes then continues for as long as 45 minutes, it kept me up till 11pm.

We did the passholder preview Monday. We were a bit underwhelmed. Stood in line for the flying one for like an hour. Thought there'd be more to the land with the amount of hype. The kids loved meeting the characters though.

This may be exciting to most, but this change is absolutely devastating to me. Lego Chima was my childhood, and to not only see the line discontinued, but the entire land themed to it completely redone makes me very sad. I honestly wish they'd at least start making the sets again, because it was a major part of my childhood and I'm afraid I'm never gonna get it back.
