LEGO finally released MUPPETS minifigures, so I built a skyscraper apartment building for them to live in! With a working elevator and fully decorated interiors, this was one MASSIVE project.

Muppets fun fact: Statler and Waldorf are both named after New York hotels. Waldorf is obviously named after the Waldorf Astoria. But what about Statler? Well if you've ever used NY Penn Station and exited the station onto Seventh Ave, then it's the hotel right in front of you. It used to be called the Hotel Statler and Statler Hilton before it was reverted back to its original name in 1991, the Hotel Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, it is being demolished and replaced with a bland office tower called 15 Penn Plaza. The building managed to survive over a hundred years from January 1919 to April 2020. Another closure resulting from the pandemic.

Waldorf also has a rarely seen wife who looks like Statler in drag called Astoria, also after the Waldorf Astoria

@@TheB3 It's also worth noting that Waldorf is the one with the moustache. He's usually in the leftmost position when they're seen in their balcony box, even though his name always comes second when you say them together.

This is an INCREDIBLE build, and I love how you kept each floor in character of each Muppet. I also agree that it's a shame that the rest of Electric Mayhem wasn't included. Maybe they can be included in a Muppets CMF series 2. I was kind of expecting the landlord to be Jim Henson, but Mr. Ditkovich is a nice inclusion too

Thank you so much! At first we were going to make a theater for the Muppets, but you and a bunch of other channels already had videos out doing just that before we even got the figures lol. So we had to improvise, and I'm glad we did-it was fun putting a unique spin on the build!

The tower is so colourful and represents each muppet perfectly 💚👍 the comments you through in during each build we're so funny lol! Lots of oil cans for hunydew's head, piggy and Kermit's argument, how everyone except Statler and Waldorf was raising money for the tower rent cuz they were randomly sleeping. Comity gold! This is amazing, fantastic, and by far my 3rd favorite video you've done. I'm seriously opposed with the 2nd floor. I just really like their balcony outside of it so they can mock people as they pass by.
