The "Day of the Departed" is similar to a tradition that is celebrated in Mexico. On November 1st and 2nd, we honor and reminisce about our loved ones, our departed ones. I, for one, am looking forward to see how the DotD episode turns out. Not only because it is a 44 minute episode, but because I feel that I will be able to relate to it. So thanks to The Fold and Lego Ninjago for making this happen!! You guys ROCK!
STOP BREAKING MY HEART GOSH DARN IT I CAN RELATE TO THE LITTLE BOY BECAUSE I LOST MY DAD SO YOU KNOW, HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND BUT DANG, STAPH THIS IS SO SAD AND BEAUTIFUL AND IM CRYING JUST JESUS I NEED HELP
The tracks for the Day of the Departed are everything haunting yet rocking that I wanted from Possession. One year wait, but totally worth it. Top notch work, my fellows.
WOAH WOAH WOAH WAIT! If the boy is letting the lantern go, he must be celebrating someone he has lost, who has died. In the beginning of the video, he took a picture of what appears to be him and his best friend with him before he left. Does that imply that his best friend died!? That's so sad!
Day Of The Departed is basically Halloween for Ninjago Day Of The Departed is also like that Mexico holiday that I think celebrates your loved ones who has died with skeletons. Day Of The Departed is a lot of traditions
*Ah yes the classic days of i keep watching this 100x for hours when I was 5-7 child and all the the time thinking this was the best music in the world...ah classic days... * starts crying * .*
Beautiful job- you get a ton of thumbs up....I really think the Ninjago fandom should start this tradition of lighting lamps for those who we remember and then see if it actually catches on....and still call it the Day of the Departed
Rip Kirby Morrow but at least you can say in heaven I was lots of kids childhoods from a amazing series named ninjago you were the best one besides Kai and Jay and Zane ofc but still I loved the voice you had for Cole it's just unforgettable when my friend told me the news of your sad passing i was shocked that a part of my childhood died I was heartbroken to say the least
OH MAN.... Nostalgia hits me a lot!! I remember watching NINJAGO in his best days back in 2015 -- 2017! EMOTIONAL DAMAGE BRO! In memory of Kirby Morrow....🤧😣😩😫
Recently got back into Ninjago after 2 years of not watching it and god I forgot how good this song was, kudos to you guys and keep up the amazing work♡♡
Happy Day of the Departed everyone! Hey, guys, can you do a song about the ninjas’ adventures and fights against the Sons of Garmadon? I’d love that!! 💕❤️❤️💕
I'm not sure if I'm the only one who was forbidden to listen to this song by parents cuz it was a song about the dead To be fair this song is quite dark for a kid's show Anyone else out there who had their parents forbid them from listening to this song?
It is a bit dark, but it’s also meant to be a celebration like in Mexican culture. We had a lot of fun with it, but totally get why parents would be concerned!
Nice job everyone!! I'd of joined all those kids with a lamp for my grandma if I could've, so I craved my pumpkin with the dragon design from the show. I like how you the titles like an old fashioned movie
So is Day of the Departed just the Day of the Dead, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's Eve all rolled into one? The people of Ninjago are efficient, they condensed all their holidays into one.
