Truly the workhorse of the solar system and maybe even the galaxy. Originally built as The Tachi an MCRN Corvette-class light frigate. it was "legitimately salvaged" By James Holden and his crew during an attack on the Donnager. Renamed Rocinante, this rag-tag crew find themselves in the middle of alien first contact and trying to prevent a war. Designed with utility, realism, and purpose in mind, this ship is sure to go down as a classic. The Transplanetary racing Razorback is also included.
Included are parlists and PDF instructions for three color variations (Rocinante gray), (Tachi black and orange), (Rocinante Season 4 & 5) and The Razorback as well as display stands.

I want moah!! More the expanse ships, and more scales. They are the coolest ships in the solar system and the "event" in the last episode of season 5 had me drooling for these designs.

if you look closely at the ship as it appears in the show, you can see it is a painted lego build.. they didn't even try to hide it with glue and filler. its a much larger build than what is shown here though.

Build idea: Eta 5 interceptor. It was a revised version of the eta 2 made in the new republic era. (Not sure if it’s considered canon or anything but it’s a really cool ship)

In space you never really see any ship before it's to late. Radar is to slow to detect ships and also makes you a target, if you can't move zig-zag pattern all the time. A single grey point is fine representation of any spaceship ;).

In space there is no such thing as stealth. You always know the position of a ship as long as you have line of sight or using prior trajectory calculations. So in reality all you see is a dot on your monitor. You can’t actually see it at “normal” ranges with the naked eye.

Very cool. After I buy your plans, where can I go to to buy the specific pieces to build it? I want to buy this and the pieces as a gift for my son, but I want to have it both the pieces and the instructions when I give it to him.

I actually made the season 4 paintjob before and mine, I would say, is more accurate (as I am very pedantic when it comes to recreating things, trust me, I looked at every possible frame of this ship in the season, which were not many), both are beautiful though. I failed to design a railgun for it yet, but from what I can see here, I may have an inspiration now (I won't make it the same, looks kinda big to me), but the landing gear looks beautiful and perfect (it would be hard to implement now though, so I might also stay with mine lack there of).

Maybe I got unlucky with the 6-stud bar piece, but the drive cone is _incredibly_ loose-fitting. Neither of the vids mentioned this. The whole design in general is unsurprisingly fragile, given it's a macro-scale custom build, so don't expect any traditional LEGO set durability with this one. Love it as a display piece, but I _never_ touch it; It's fallen apart on me on multiple occasions.

I would absolutely LOVE to have this but are the parts easy enough to find on the Lego store or is there a better way of getting them? Found the instructions to make a similar scale Serenity from Firefly but gave up trying to find the parts 😩
