I live in seongnam and I’ve been around the Seoul area- there are lots of tower building with mini stores that resell old and new Lego!

I am very surprised by your commentary regarding prices at Lego Stores in Korea. I have done the exchange rates in the past as well as recent past and many of the sets I looked at are similarly priced to those in the U.S. And last year I actually found one of the train sets was about 20-30 dollars cheaper than it was in the U.S. (and it wasn’t on sale.) Also, some sets are actually slightly cheaper in SK as the sticker price includes tax. I do recall the Mercedes Benz Speed Champions was priced slightly higher in the SK but I imagine it’s because the Mercedes Licensing fee is higher here. I admit I haven’t checked out any of the Star Wars sets for example. So perhaps those are more expensive in SK as well.
