Those Voldemort minifig plushies are absolutely cursed. But shoutout to the guy wearing just socks there, lounging around like this whole place is his bedroom. The modern English word sock is derived from the Old English word socc, meaning "light slipper". This comes from the Latin soccus, a term to describe a "light, low-heeled shoe" worn by Roman comic actors, and deriving from the Ancient Greek word sykchos. In ancient times, socks were made from leather or matted animal hair. In the late 16th century, machine-knit socks were first produced. Until the 1800s, both hand-made and machine-knit socks were manufactured, with the latter technique becoming more common in the 19th century and continuing until the modern day. Portillo's was founded in 1963 by Dick Portillo. After returning from serving in the Marines, Portillo gathered money from his savings and an investment from his brother Frank to open a hot dog stand. They bought a 12-foot trailer that had no restroom and no running water. They named it "The Dog House". The Dog House operated on North Avenue in Villa Park, IL. At first the stand lost money and a solution was needed. Portillo went snuck into one of the back rooms of a competitor and wrote down where they were purchasing their product. He continued the process of learning by visiting different competitors. By 1967, The Dog House, now in good financial standing, was upgraded to a larger trailer and was renamed "Portillo's"
"Funko area, wow...that's called the clearance section" 💀Everybody gangsta till there's Duplo on the window! Love how you were like "Ooh, Aang! Ooh, Spirit Aang!" while Zuko and Sokka not being acknowledged like 👁👄👁. Show some respect to our cactus juice-loving king! 😂While I would criticize Dragon Blok for straight up copying the Lego Taj Mahal, Empire State Building, White House, and Statue of Liberty sets, I gotta say I would definitely get those Burj Al Arab, Notre Dame, and Ottawa Centre Block sets and maybe even the tank at 1:46. And those builds of Pikachu, Charmander, Mario, Eevee, Luigi, and Aang at 13:31 are insane! I'm glad Lego has been catering to the Chinese because that meant having cool Chinese New Year sets and this Monkie Kid theme. Monkie Kid is based off Journey to the West, a novel published in the 16th century during the Ming dynasty and attributed to Wu Cheng'en. The plot revolves around Buddhist monk Xuanzang, who travels west to India with his four disciples, including the famous monkey king Sun Wukong, in search for holy scriptures.
