I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your reviews on the 2021 summer Speed Champions sets, I really liked how you provided the background of the cars, instead of just saying if their cool or not, and how you compared it against the real cars, detail for detail. Good work!

This was a cool set, but maybe I'll buy the set with the ford gt if I can... Edit: I can't imagine the effort the designers went through to add such small details!

The Elva is still my no. 1 out of this new wave, simply because I personally love the odd design and the LEGO version captures that perfectly. However, after seeing this review, I think my favorite of these in terms of its build is definitely the Challenger. I'm an expert at building complex shapes with legal SNOT techniques and that thing is a real piece of art beneath the simple-looking shell. I can't imagine how much time the designer must've taken to come up with all those crazy upside-down and sideways connections, it's so good! I also like the Ford GT, just wish it had slightly more accurate details at the rear. I shouldn't be complaining about it though, the car already looks marvellous as-is.

I bought the set and love it the challenger has some amazing build techniques and the dragster looks absolutely amazing with just some bigger wheels and a wheelie bar the tiny modifications make huge differences

I got this set in Aug. at a nice toy store in Saranac Lake, NY, and had a wonderful fall day at our nearby cabin building their cars. I have been an NHRA fan from the 1990s and have two of the older LEGO dragsters of this scale [Blue and white 8847-1 and the Red Fury] and this one adds nicely to the group! But I agree with you that larger tires on the rear would be better!

Awesome video and great looking car's. I have a 1971 Challenger convertible and 2009 Challenger RT, so I have a sentimental attachment to Mopar's. I love them. I hope we see a 'Cuda or Barracuda from Lego someday.

I personally love the 1970s Dodge Challenger. I always love it when LEGO released SC sets with old cars, like the Stingray or Challenger.

Mega bloks in 2002 and again in 2005 made decent dragster sets. Lego took a while to make an accurate dragster but dammit if they didnt nail it besides the rear tires and wheelie bar. 1/24 model dragster slicks work tho. And a slight modification with a couple studs on bottom and an old ball hitch piece make a great wheelie bar tho!

I love lego price politics. 49 bucks in US, in Poland freaking 60 dollars at least.

I am not a big fan of the dragster but that Challenger makes me wanna get the set for sure (I had doubt before this review but now I am fully convice) 01 - Corvette Double Pack 02 - Jesko 03 - Dodge Double Pack 04 - Supra Those I will purchase for 2021.

I liked the lotus the best, not because it had outstanding technique, but because it made for such a nice body kit for one of my old mech frames R.I.P. lotus

I'm trying to figure out basically a 1-wheeled version of this with dragon head, wings, maybe a tail, and firing missiles. But for the life of me I can't figure out the bottom part of the cockpit design to add that cockpit piece like I want to.

Would be nice if the injection on 6x6 plate would fit a stud hole on the back of those plates.

the challenger technicly is now a sleeper(looks abit eh from the outside but under the hood its a good car)

I understand what you mean about the rear wheels, but do remember, they expand A LOT while running on the real car

The challenger gave me an idea of how to build the tail lights of a custom Lamborghini gallardo

3:08 it's actually 1320ft for a ¼mile (and the dragstrip only takes the trap speed at 1244ft I believe) but I'm really happy for the effort since it's not a european thing. That said, to me, the challenger looks more like a plymouth baracuda than a challenger to me... it just looks like it has a little meat on it's bones as opposed to the slender look of the challenger. Overall tho, it's a really good set. I however will not be buying it.

Now I see what Chris was taking about with the unique design of the dragster when the were in the early design stages. Very cool stuff my friend.

The 6x6 is a rare piece I only have 2 in my whole collection

I would have definitely preferred a Ram TRX, Durango, charger widebody, Jeep trackhawk, Gladiator, Wrangler, or Viper, but oh well. But I understand that dodge is all about drag racing and probably pushed the Dragster, also a Ram or Jeep would definitely not sit well with ford launching the Bronco. But a modern charger or an old charger Daytona would probably be a great alternative.

I know you may not see this comment, but after watching your corvette review as well as this, I want to point you to Mould King's 2023 set 27035, which is also a corvette stingray. Granted it isn't perfect but it uses a lot of the techniques you mention here and in the corvette video, as well as having better representation of the car's actual form factor - IE the back wheel arches as well as the slightly less blocky windshield. I'm not sure if you plan on branching out to non-lego speed champions or other cars, but Mould King is a serious competitor in the market, both in terms of pricing and quality, so I would recommend you at least take a look.

I love the fact that the driver is female. I'm pretty sure that this set has been inspired by Leah Pritchett.

The steering wheel on the 1970 dodge is actually not aligned with the seat, i own a volvo duett and it has the same thing and i googled lol😂😂

I love how the photo of the source material for the dragster purposely blocks the view of the rear tires so you can’t see how out of proportion the model is. 😂 It’s so incredibly oversized. I really want the Challenger, it’s just too bad it’s not a single car set.

I love the dragster. My feeling is that they got the length about right for Top Fuel and it could easily be a few studs longer. However, Lego dropped one here... *Treaded Tyres...?* Really? What were they thinking? For me, that just ruins it.

My favorite is the Ford GT.

I do NOT understand why the roof of the Corvette has two 4x2 plates while the Challenger has just one 4x4 plate (which is much better). This flaw also you can see at other older models. This sucks! Esp. when the front shield does not stick tight on the car. This SC2021 set I don't like bc of the dragster. What the heck!!!
