Why is Boba fat?

This mech is amazing in terms of having a reason to exist, as a massive Boba Fett fan I will definitely purchase this day one, love the new ESB figure we got arm printing is amazing.

That new head piece is over the top good. They could’ve just given him the commander Cody head and it would’ve worked, but we get this whole new one just for this small (if over priced) set. Lego does go above and beyond every once and a while.

The Boba mini-figure is definitely the draw, I’ll wait for a sale, but could also wait to see if this mini-figure is in another set I want in the future, great review Ryan, I can’t unsee the camera for his blaster too

My 7-year-old was pissed when he found out that these were placed microfighters. He loved the little ships and flying them around while we watched the movies. RIP microfighters.

This is by far the best Lego Star Wars mech, and I think that the Boba Fett figure will be a reason for many people to buy the set!

Plot twist: the mech IS holding a film camera, maybe Boba wants to become a filmmaker and he built this mech for himself to get better camera angles while filming. Pretty sweet looking set anyways. I can’t say I’m all that interested in the mechs overall, but I’ll probably be picking this one up at some point.

Fun fact: if you don't like asymmetric designs, there's enough parts to make a symmetrical mech. Also all the mechs are 13 bucks at my local store. Getting all of them for sure!

Mechs(Figures) turned out pretty well! Can’t wait for them to go on sale still. Then and only then will they truly be worth buying. 🙂

I will tolerate NO hate for the Star Wars Mechs! They are amazing 🤣 (no, I'm being serious). I hope we get Rex and Cody mechs!

Him having a film camera looking gun is pretty cool to me because boba fett used to use a film camera piece for his gun long ago

I got gifted the amazing transport scythe for my birthday, long story short, I recently got this mech and I find that the cape piece from the kenobi variation of Obi wan, works perfectly for bobas cape

I just got this Lego Set Last Night and I Love it it’s so Cool the Mech Looks just like Boba Fett and the Boba Fett Mini figure is Great I Really want the StormTrooper and Darth Vader one’s to and I Hope Lego Does More of the Mechs

I really like this mech - it's definitely the best out of the three. I'm really looking forward to getting the figure too. I'm looking forward to the headprint, which kinda looks like rex's head.

Also this set includes 3 clone visor pieces and 3 clone antenna pieces, one has to be used for boba though.

Getting ready for the UCS Mechs in the next year or so.

I know it's nice for people who don't have the original arm printed ESB Boba, but considering the Mech is based on the ROTJ Boba and that it's the 40th Anniversary, I would have loved to finally have a ROTJ Boba Fett with Arm Printing

I bought mine today. As someone that is getting back into Lego Starwars it's nice to be able to get an official Boba Fett minifigure. Yeah the actual mech suit is a bit strange looking and elbow and knee articulation is missing but overall I like it

Weird that the figure has the green gauntlet arm prints despite the mech having red, would’ve been a great opportunity to give us a boba fett figure with red gauntlet printing

2:53 LEGO Batman voice: “First try!” 😉 This is the only mech I plan to buy just for Boba. Going through my LEGO keychains and found a Boba one with the green cape. Took the keychain part out and was able to get the cape off with no issues, so now I have a cape for this Boba when I get the mech.

Something no one has said, is that the figure is based off of tesb and the mech (specifically the jet pack because it is blue) is from rotj

Lego screwed up on my boba fett mech it was missing one of the finger pieces on the mech and I don’t have a replacement part what should I do

I think I'm getting ideas for using some of the Mech pieces to make a custom GenDai Ravis from "Jedi Suvivor!!!"

Now that you said it has a camera I can not unsee it, lol. Of the three I like this Mech the best just based on the colors.

I’ve got my expensive Boba figs from the UCS slave 1 and cloud city, it doesn’t bother me that there’s a cheap set with a nice fig in it. I never expected them to become valuable in the first place 😅

what does the erxtra pieces do that goes along with bobas antena?

I like how the vader mech is the odd one out. For the storm trooper that sounds like something that would actually exist in the Star Wars universe. And the boba mech gives a cheaper way to get an amazing figure (Even better is you can get his cape). But then the vader mech makes no sense since he’s the most powerful sith I know. And we get a vader figure more than storm troopers I would argue.

I just bought this thing today and I love it only for the figure even thought i think the jango fett that I got from the coprate alliance tank droid is better this one is still good probably the third best boba fett

Surprised it has the missile on the back which is a reference to the films and the Kenner toy cause if the Kenner toy could not have it I thought it wasn’t allowed

i've been wanted a boba fett figure for as long as i can remember and i got the book of boba fett one but i need this so its a buy

I definitely want this and a couple of stormtrooper ones when they ultimately drop in price just like the marvel ones.

What's on the outside of the mech's forearms?

Are those arms the same as the other printed boba arms?

I bought it and I'm still wracking my brain trying to figure out what to actually build out of all those pieces. I turned my N1 Microfighter into a speederbike, because I like minifig-scale stuff that looks like it could feasibly be in the Star Wars universe.

You know, should I get this day one, or wait for a local retail store to have it on sale? (Since these mechs will most likely go on sale like most of the other ones do)

How does this figure compare to previous figures?

I think these will be sought-after for their peices. Mock builders will want them.

One thing I have not seen anybody mention, the Boba minifigure is from ESB, while the mech is from ROTJ (gauntlet color is the biggest giveaway).

I hope the figure will go up in value because it’s AWESOME

the reason he has no cape and green armor plates on his arm is cus he isnt the boba fett from Return of the jedi but the one from starwars jedi survivor game

I love the new legs and arms for the mechs now which are like curved

Theory: boba fett is only that good because they made him for the Jabba palace or barge and they will re use it there

The only reason I hate this is because I really wanted a ROTJ Boba minifig since that version is not too common and I already have the 2018 ESB one, so when I first saw the pictures for this I got excited since the mech is clearly designed by the ROTJ design and I thought the minifigure would be too, but it wasn't. I mean of course is good to have an affordable OT Boba with arm printing, but they always make the ESB Boba anyways and a new ROTJ one with arm printing was much more necessary, and would even look better alongside the mech

I think part of the film camera blaster problem is how it's hovering so far above the hand due to the awful 'thumb' piece, if you removed that and lowered it by one segment I think it might look 'better'.
