Always wanted the 2006 version as a kid and I’ve considered buying it even today. But I’m really hoping the UCS set is a banger so I won’t have to go eBay hunting lol
I vastly prefer the 2006 set. It just feels like you get so much more. A larger and more accurate Sail Barge, the Desert Skiff, and the Sarlacc Pit. The minifigure selection is better as well, having most of the key characters of that scene. And lastly it has that iconic old LEGO Star Wars feel. I'm grateful for the 2013 set as it gave us rare minifigures like Max Reebo (that we'd probably never get otherwise) but it's just a worse set overall.
Absolutely! This set is so unique. Each build feels complete and necessary with thought put it. Not like now where there's random builds thrown into a set for fluff. Or require a DLC set to complete the scene.
@@anthony_collects Yeah, the steeper end that goes higher up is the back (those rectangular bits are the engines) and the pointier end is the front, I believe.
