This video taught me a lot. I've had a history of liking bad films. I can't hate on anything. I thought I have a really bad taste, but you taught me opinions only matter to ourselves. Thank you. Although I heard "irks my soul" more times then I can count.
+emgo316 my grandmother is the same way as that person that you mentioned, who thinks that she is right all the time and looks down on everyone because they like something she doesn't like. It just urks my nerves. She doesn't know common sense From:smash
See, I enjoyed the film, but, was not insanely crazy about it, like some of my friends were. I was basically accused of being wrong for not thinking it was the greatest thing since sliced bread...ugh, nerds...
hey emgo my name is Tyler and u are my favorite youtuber and u help me make the decision on buying toys and u make me laugh in ever video i have watched so far and u rock my friend u rock and keep it up
I liked the movie and didn't mind that they rehashed ANH, but I do hope they go for an original story for the next one and not a re-do of ESB.Their are two things I didn't like and those are pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. First were the look of the space based scenes, but I had that with the directors other sci-fi movies as well. It's mostly the lighting effects. The second is right at the end when Rey finds Luke and suddenly they switch to a helicopter shot. I felt it didn't fit with how the rest of the movie was shot and caused a sort of mental disconnect for me.
Just don't bother listening to or try to talk any sense into those haters, Emgo. It's pointless really. Haters are just going to hate. That's all they really know how to do. I would just ignore them. Life is way to short to waste your time with winey fanboys. Weather if people liked or hated the movie they should be thankful that they got the opportunity to go see it. I haven't seen The Force Awakens yet and I would give anything to get the opportunity to go see it, but I can't even get to my local theater because I'm crippled. I have to struggle to even get to the bathroom. I just wish people would be more appreciative of what they have and what they can do instead of just spreading their hate everywhere.
that's what i'm sayin son, i really enjoyed the force awakens, and i don't care if some people hated it, that's fine with me, i honestly don't care, i stuck with my opinion, nobody should evet ever force me to have the same opinion as they do. i really like the force awakens, i took it for what it was, i understood why they did it like that, and i really enjoyed it, matter of fact, seeing it made me even more excited to see rogue one: a star wars story.
People should learn from ya Emgo, like the Jurassic World line, people continuously said "it was the worst(yadda yadda yadda) in this company!", like what you said in this video, they're expecting waaay too much.
I agree with what he said in the beginning about people that think they're right and everyone else is wrong. Also, for anybody that hasn't seen TFA yet, spoiler alert
hey emgo i recently gotten the decadriver (which is so much fun!!!) and a couple of hours ago i was just open and closing it for five minutes then i ironically made a little tune out of it. xD I'm a musical belt genius. btw can't for the coming kamen rider and super sentai reviews!! :D
The Force Awakens is the most popular movie ever. It made 1 billion dollars in 12 days, it gets the highest ratings. So saying everyone should hate it is kind of stupid. I haven't seen it yet; I was never a Star Wars fan but I can certainly understand that people love this movie. It is just so easy to nitpick on things and twitter and youtube comments are just the perfect outlets.
My only problem with TFA is that JJ Abrams read the Star Wars EU novels, thought they would make a great movie, and mashed it with A New Hope to cover up the direct plot rip. Good movie though, like it a lot, go FN-2199!
I watched the video and yeah it was pretty funny. The only thing I would say is that we're spending a bit too much time on one side of the problem. The problem goes both ways: those who attack the film beyond all reason and those who defend the film beyond all reason. It's hype vs anti-hype with common sense caught right in the crossfire. Both are halves of a single giant headache because neither can recognize the possible validity of the other. The haters suck out all of the enjoyment others might have felt while the worshipers bludgeon anybody who might have a reasonable criticism about the film and lump them in with the haters, both in the name of their own self-gratification. In all honesty the worshipers bug me more because honest criticism and discussion is extremely important for society. Nothing is flawless, therefore everything, especially works of artistic media, should be open to criticism. I just can't stand it when people try to prevent criticism because it demonstrates an unwillingness to think and I don't enjoy being accused of being something that I'm not just because I identify faults in something that someone else loves.
+emgo316 Yeah I guess you're right. It's just that I've had more experience with the worshiper mentality "irking my soul" with other non-related topics that I have had an interest in lately, so I just want to make sure that they get their due denunciation along with the haters with regards to this topic, because they do exist here too. My basic opinion of the movie is very mixed. I found it enjoyable and well crafted, but not particularly well written, so that puts me at risk of being labeled by the worshipers as a whining nitpicking Lucas-fanboy, or whatever they call the haters, and that's just BS to me because it's not true.
emgo316 Well, that answers my question. Still, it took you half of the last two years to notice my comments, I've been watching your videos, and I got some Transformers figures per your recommendations, though, I did not get the ones from BBTS, I got them from my local Walmart and from other towns, I even went to Oklahoma for my summer vacation to find one I really liked. Want me to put up a list?
I don't understand the whole "everyone should think exactly like I do" mentality. I can't even bring myself to watching Syfy movies because of the terrible special effects and acting, but I don't blame anyone if they enjoy watching them. People simply like different things, shocking. Personally I enjoyed the Bayformers movies. Are they good movies? Maybe not, but I went in thinking "I want to see cool robots" and that's exactly what I got and for that I'm pleased. In short, there's a reason opinions are called opinions and not facts. :P
I wonder if Austin is giving you an odd stare right now. My own personal opinion on the movie is that's it's fine and seems like it can stand on its own and sure its alot like A new nope, but honestly I feel as if that's them playing it techically safe after people overracting to the prequels, even if they were overall weaker than the oringal trilogy they were atleast decent movies, but it's also doing the exact same job as a new hope so it doesn't bug me at all
I personally didn't like the movie but that's just me we all like different things :) I also hate the people that force their opinions on you can't stand them
Haha, the problem with people is they are never happy! They moan about things "not being done right" (whatever the f that means) or "oh no it's different to the old films" if its a series like SW is. Next thing is it IS different "WE HATE IT!" so the next film is more like the older ones... "WE HATE IT TOO!!!!" lol.... I mean wtf. I liked the movie even though I felt Jedi has a definitive ending to the series
Hosestly I didn't really like the force awakens I didn't get the original Star Wars feel I got from the original trilogy and prequels and I'm a nerdy nerd nerd boi
