One film at a time, let’s begin again. Out of all previous options, I’ve decided to start with something I dearly care about. I needed to prove to myself that I could still make something like this after all this time. And I hope I was able to pick up where I had last left off from all those years ago with this project.
This movie was originally filmed in 2020. Only recently had I decided to return to edit the footage for a final product. Operation Safari is a soft reboot for Clone Squad 6. It references all previous CS6 films and recreates a siege scenario for the Backline Commander to deal with. It is the fourth installment and a prequel to the Squad 6 Trilogy. Like Retro Squad, I filmed this with the 180 degree rule in mind, and decided to exclusively use the soundtrack from Return of The Jedi.
I don’t know how long it’ll be before the next movie, but I have every intention to return to RU-vid, and to continue filming animated features. So until then, I hope you enjoy Operation: Safari!

In this film, I have referenced every previous Clone Squad 6 film through various intricacies. Can you determine all the Easter Eggs?

I noticed many of your Easter eggs, the auto cannons are modified versions of the cannons used in commanders revenge. Seeing characters like Marshal and Sarge were great to see although their genders were changed from female to male. Which makes sense. The droid command centre features elements from the 501st rebellion part 1 clone base. The clone base is a modified clone squad 6 part 1 clone base (were marshal first appeared) the juggernaut smashing through the droids is obviously a reference to retro squad. Some of the clones use a modified version of Commander Cody’s gun from the 501st rebellion. It’s also great to see that Vaults gun still uses jangle fetts guns sound effect, it’s also amazing that you still have your custom Apc

Guys, I’ve failed to quit. But I don’t think I could ever really stray so far away from this channel and from making these types of movies. It’s where I’ve found my happy place, and I’d like to return to that place now. So for those of you who have stayed with this channel, thank you for your support. So because I filmed the third episode of Cop One, I do plan to finish it. It will be immensely dated, because it was the last movie that I filmed on the old camera, and right after Capital Strike as well. But regardless, I'm interesting in seeing that film come to life so now that this project is finished, I'm planning on picking up Cop One again :)

It is so good to see you return to RU-vid, I thought you had left for hood but this is a nice surprise. You inspired me to make animations, I loved your 501st rebellion series. It’s good to see a new animation. but I have to ask, will the imperial 501st come out? Ever since I saw that news video I thought it was a genius story idea. And it would be great to see it. Also, I thought Sarge was a girl.

Thank you for the kind words, it's great to see viewers enjoying these films too! To answer your question in short, yes. I will also be doing an update video about that subject among many other topics. In terms of the gender swapping, I don't really put an emphasis on character gender. Sarge could be a boy or a girl as the clone has been voiced by both individuals. Canonically, he would be male but however you'd like to view it, I simply disregard limiting my characters to male voice actors.

@@WorldCityStudios for some reason I actually loved the diversity, like marshal and sarge didn’t have to be female but they were, although it doesn’t make much sense canonically. When I think of Marshal or Sarge I will always think about the female voices. But it’s your channel and your story so you should decide. Although it doesn’t really matter. Just because there is diversity doesn’t make a film good, it’s the acting, writing and story that make a film good. However I love that you kept Sarges Irish accent.

@@legoworldstudios1323 that was actually the reason I gave Sarge to the man who voiced Rex for me; it was with the intention that he could pull off a Scottish Accent better than anyone I know. As for the Marshal Commander, it wasn't exactly Ace but rather Bow and that gave me a new character to work with as well. But I'm certainly in agreement with most of those critical points. It wasn't necessarily a matter of prioritizing diversity over the quality pursuit but rather giving the roles to those who were interested at the time regardless of gender

This particular film is during the Clone Wars, and technically a prequel to the rest of Clone Squad 6 if you like to view it within that continuity :)

Well there were a lot of reasons. I came upon various other passions and upon further venturing into college, many priorities overtook filming. However, I had to admit to myself eventually that this channel was still one of my favorite hobbies and I just had to come back.
