Since the ground clearance is too low, did the LEGO Technic Mclaren formula 1 race car scratched the LEGO pieces that hangs down or underneath?

So I just bought the raptor and got the itch to get into technic, I havent built legos in probably a decade. Whats a good starter set to buy for pieces, I found the range rover on sale on amazon for $160, but I want to get something with motors to combine with the raptor set. Any suggestions?

Why is the steering motor oriented horizontally and not vertically - you've got space below for protrusions, so you could reinforce the chassis from the sides of the motor if it was oriented vertically.

dude this is freaky, i thought the same thing " I can easily fit motors in here," I hooked up 2 of the regular powered up motors from the batmobile set. one is connected to the v6 engine and the other to the top steering shaft. mine kinda sucks cuz the engine power is terrible only a few km per hour (very slow and weak, the motors are on the verge of burning out every time I drive is), but it's still amazing. P.S. i built mine yesterday

Do a best technic steering+suspension sets, and or maybe a best parts for price list!

I think for some insane speed, you should've gone for two buggy motors and the old RC system. Bigger motors, smaller controller so same size, but with more torque, and a lot more speed

I use PF AA battery box but when i put it inyo the model the centre part of chassis flex and touch the ground. How could I fix this problem?

suggestion: try changing the gear rack to a bigger one so it has bigger steering
