Today, I am comparing all three of the lego technic small motorized tracked sets. We have the RC Tracked Racer 42065 from 2017, the Remote-Controlled Stunt Racer 42095 from 2019, and finally the App-Controlled Transformation Vehicle 42140 from 2022. Each of these has its own unique advantages as well as disadvantages. Which one is the fastest? Which one has the best off road performance? Which LEGO Technic Tracked Vehicle is the best? why u so obsessed with da gearbox ?😕coz it the excavator 2021 u were not happy coz it did not have one but in the all terrain vehicle u were super happy it hade one ( just courious )

I refitted both the 42065 and the 42095 (B model with changed track wheels, it's just better) with rubber pads. So I got no performance issues on that end. Tbh I still think the 42065 is the best 🤔

Put rubber pads on the other 2 older models and traction changes 100%.

I think the 2019 set was pretty revolutionary since it came with the new, bigger track runners as well as two l motors

I wonder how it would go with a pf conversion? Infrared could be an issue when flipped?

Not only that, the right control stick would control the left motor and vice versa. You’d have to actually flip the controller itself. IR isn’t really an issue since you could get an IR wire that attaches to the receiver and sticks out the flipped side. Now the signal can come in from the wire or directly into the receiver

@@Unbrickme could try not flipping the vehicle so the remote isn’t backwards but that’s no fun 😂 unfortunately the stunt racer is the only pf set I have, only got into lego again 2 years ago, Love your enthusiasm for technic and your reviews.

The new one still need a fking phone to operate. ANd if you drop that tough shit for you. For the price a basic ass chinese plastic controller would be the bare minimum.

MIne is not working the moment we go outside no matter what the surface .... it seems like it doesn't recieve signals outside no matter how close or far away with the remote Why could this be? Any recommendations?

The rubber traction plugs on the caterpillar tracks of the transformation vehicle are what makes it grip so well on inclines, if you add them to the other vehicles they would perform equally as well on inclines. Also, when I built mine, the traction plugs along one side of the tracks offset the camber tracking, stagger the plugs to balance the camber of the tracks, works 100x better.

You should change the wheels on the 42095. It would probably perform better on almost every test.

Hi! Can you compare the capacities of the new vs the old Lego Bluetooth hub? Maybe the screws weren't the only change and the electronics also got updated ? ( Like the ir receiver v2? )

I think you should have included the previous generation of the tracked racer (a red grey and yellow one) but still quite an objective comparison

@@Unbrickme I can't find it right now, but I remember seeing a video comparing it to the 2017 green tracked racer a long time ago. It had a similar shape, red body color and dark grey tracks. There is a chance that I don't remember correctly and it was actually an MOC
