Smaller Simba is definitely the better one. Especially after watching Ashnflash's video and seeing how fragile the neck and tail connections on the big one are.

While both sets look great, for me, pose-ability wins out even for display pieces, so I am going to get the smaller Simba.

To me at this size the Mighty Bowser is a much better build, it has so much pose-ability and even great play features. It can be purchased at around USD180 now, which is not much more expensive but with a lot more pieces and features.

I gotta be honest: the 20 dollar Simba looks far better esthetically. He looks smoother, looks closer to the animated film, and for 20 dollars? In this day and age of Lego prices, that is a STEAL.
