Impressive how well graded the yard is, for the lego tracks to be placed without experiencing significant bumps

Here is some questions I would like to ask? How many sets do have to get all of the tracks? Or how did you get them How do you like go on your daily life? Do you like dismantle the tracks or keep them there and you have to always avoid them?
@AFOLKFOLBricks
@AFOLKFOLBricks 6 месяцев назад
Most of the tracks were bought from Lego, you can either buy them online from their pick a brick section, or in small track sets. The track was a temporary layout, they are all safely stored for the winter right now. We’ll be doing this again as soon as the weather improves with a bigger and awesomer bridge 😊

As cool as it is having them run over the pool, I’d be in a constant state of anxiety worrying they’d fall in the pool. I’d like to see them go over a canyon or valley of some sort cuz if they crash, it’s just dirt, but water would ruin it for me 😢

It was very nerve wracking, fortunately we only had one minor incident where the camera ended up in the pool instagram.com/reel/CwX5AQ3qEcX/

Hi. great video! I have one question though with 60337 (green train) how many motors did you put in it at either end of the train? I have seen all of your video's ever since you started produceing videos. nice work.
@AFOLKFOLBricks
@AFOLKFOLBricks 3 месяца назад
Thank you, so glad to see that you enjoy our videos 😊😊! Both the green (60337) and yellow trains (60197) have one motor & PoweredUp hub (battery box) on each of the end locomotives. We recently got more carriages for both trains and added a 3rd locomotive with a single motor & hub in the middle, so they each now have 3 motors in total. We'll be posting a new video showing the longer trains this friday June 7.

Any recommendations on how to add traction for those longer trains?
@AFOLKFOLBricks
@AFOLKFOLBricks 6 месяцев назад
We replaced the original traction bands on each of the motor’s wheels with rubber o-rings, they provide around 20% more traction. We are also using additional motors / locomotives. Usually one for each 5 passenger cars

Amazing set we are using this as inspiration for our sons Lego track and wondered if the bridges come as sets or do you have to put them together with your own imagination, if so where do you get the bits from

idea: make a tunnel under a mountain range (legos or actual dirt) for trains to go through

I dont know if im the only one that noticed but is the green and grey train with the shipping containers in your pfp the Maersk train? I noticed based off the front and train cars
@AFOLKFOLBricks
@AFOLKFOLBricks 10 месяцев назад
Good eye! And yes, it’s a Maersk locomotive but with green tiles instead of blue. The container cars are also modified a bit. We built it from our spare parts and a few bricklink orders

Is it weak to make a large bridge for trains across the entire pool?
