We ALL came across this video at one point in our childhood. This was long before I ever watched Saving Private Ryan for the first time....good memories man. And the animations are actually pretty sick

Hey everybody. I want to inform you about whats going on now. Im happy to see that my movies are still watched and appriciated - and that people who watched them years ago still watch it. I am 26 years old now, i am married and my second child will come any day now, so i will probaly not make any new movies for the next years. Besides, as most swiss men - i do my military service (mechanised infantry) so I think Sgt. Winterbottom is satisfied, even though my rank (solider) is not as high as his ... So i want to say that you to all loyal watchers and i am proud and glad that i have inspired a lot of people to make Brickfilms. Its crazy - this movie is soon 10 years old and will also have 10 million views =O

i watched this as a kids and really enjoyed it, i came back to look back at memory lane, and i just realized i watched lego saving privet Ryan xD

I just realized that the scene where the machinegun started firing was actually a first person view. All this time, especially since I started watching this about a few days after this was uploaded, I thought the guy holding the ammo belt was the guy firing...

Thus used to be my favorite back then, recently I've just been going on a little nostalgic trip and boy oh boy does this take me back

Coming back to this years and years later still amazed this is exactly what I was into as a kid, JS legomaster always had awesome videos I even made my own account after him, DS legomaster haha and made some videos, crazy work man wonder if he’s locked out of the account

Wow! I was half my age when I first watched this video (aged 24 now), I remember watching it as soon as it was released. I spent so much money on Brickarms gear and I spent ages trying to find the minifigure head of the main character. What a masterpiece creation, watching some of the latest stop motion videos they are much more impressive from a technical aspect but just seem too animated compared these older ones which I much prefer.

Man I watched this and so many other brick films back in the day. It always inspired me to build and create things myself! You truly don’t realize how innocent things are during your childhood.

Your imagination is quite limited - look at some pictures from ww2 and some original fotage you see many soliders who use captured weapons either becuase they lost their own or to spare ammo.

by the way. I also do stop motions but I cant do that good

I saw this way back in 5th grade, a good few weeks after it was dropped. I didn't watch Saving Private Ryan until 2021 and realized the soundbites were pulled from there.
