The Battle of Stalingrad was a major battle of the Second World War, the most important episode of the Great Patriotic War between the Red Army, the Wehrmacht and the army of the Axis countries. It took place on the territory of modern Voronezh, Rostov, Volgograd regions and the Republic of Kalmykia from July 17, 1942 to February 2, 1943. The German offensive lasted from July 17 to November 18, 1942, its goal was to capture the big bend of the Don, the Volgodonsk isthmus and Stalingrad. The implementation of this plan would block transport links between the central regions of the USSR and the Caucasus, create a springboard for a further offensive to capture the Caucasian oil fields. In July-November, the Red Army managed to force the Germans to get bogged down in defensive battles, in November-January to encircle a grouping of German troops as a result of Operation Uranus, to repel the Wintergewitter unblocking German strike and squeeze the encirclement ring to the ruins of Stalingrad. The encircled surrendered on February 2, 1943, including 24 generals and Field Marshal Paulus. This victory, after a series of defeats in 1941-1942, became a turning point in the war. According to the number of total irretrievable losses (killed, died of wounds in hospitals, missing) of the warring parties, the Battle of Stalingrad became one of the bloodiest in the history of mankind: the Red Army - 478,741 people (323,856 people in the defensive phase of the battle and 154,885 people in the offensive). Wehrmacht - about 300,000 people. German allies (Italians, Romanians, Hungarians, Croats) - about 200,000 people, the number of dead citizens cannot be established even approximately, but the count goes to at least tens of thousands. The military significance of the victory was the removal of the threat of the Wehrmacht's seizure of the Lower Volga region and the Caucasus, especially oil from the Baku fields. The political significance was the sobering up of Germany's allies and their understanding of the fact that it is impossible to win the war. Turkey refused to invade the USSR in the spring of 1943, Japan did not start the planned Siberian campaign, Romania (Mihai I), Italy (Pietro Badoglio), Hungary (Miklos Kallai) began to look for opportunities to get out of the war and conclude a separate peace with Great Britain and the United States.
А ещё здесь солдаты не пьют водку, нет расстрелов и одной винтовки на троих. Это явный прогресс для запада. Неужели историю начали изучать не по играм и голивудским фильмам? Глядишь, скоро начну лайки ставить.)))
My only concern. The Germans would not have used the poor little Panzer I by this time in the war. And it especially did not have a single shot cannon. The closest thing to this was a rare version that crammed the 20mm FlaK into it, and even that was an autocannon.
@@zn_greasy5507 if your are thinking of the Panzer I Ausführung F, that may be so, but you look at what’s in the video, it looks like the adaptation with the 20mm cannon. So yeah, not Stalingrad,
acttualy i dont know why he did not have one the lego figures that he have have usually have free weapons when you buy them the brand that he use is quan guan
Wow 2 years? Nostalgic! I've watched this 5x before but then I found some new Popular Stop Motions then I stopped watching but now I watched it again! Nice video!
Thanks mate ! Im typing this message right on day, when soviet soldiers Crushed Germans at Stalingrad (February 2nd) (Also,im living in Volgograd,New name of Stalingrad)
@@ChrisAnimations97 Hahah Reminds me of cartoons with that run. Most stopmotion lego channels use the normal walk as a run as well. JD productions for example
Great work!!! Keep up the hard work!!! Can't wait to see the next one!! Where'd you get the minifigures from? I'd love to know since I collect and play with those kinds of minifigures! I can't wait for you to tell me so then I can buy them!!
