Lego WW2 D-Day - The Movie is a Lego stop motion animation. This is my compilation of WW2 Normandy movies - I've added a few more scenes :) Based on Call of Duty 2 Point Du Hoc mission. Created by Chris Animations. #lego #ww2 #callofduty
The Normandy Operation, or Operation Overlord (from the English overlord "lord, Lord") was a strategic Allied operation to land troops in Normandy (France), which began early in the morning on June 6, 1944 and ended on August 25, 1944, after which the Allies crossed the Seine River, liberated Paris and continued the offensive to the French- the German border. The operation opened the Western (or so-called "second") front in Europe in World War II. It is still the largest amphibious operation in history - more than 3 million people took part in it, who crossed the English Channel from England to Normandy. The Normandy operation was carried out in two stages. Operation Neptune - the code name of the initial phase of Operation Overlord - began on June 6, 1944 (the date is also known as "D-Day"), ended on July 1, 1944. Its goal was to gain a foothold on the continent, which lasted until July 25. Operation Cobra - a breakthrough and offensive on the territory of France was carried out by the Allies immediately after the end of the first operation ("Neptune"). Together with this, from August 15 to the beginning of autumn, American and French troops successfully conducted the South French Operation, as a complement to the Normandy Operation. Further, having carried out these operations, the Allied troops advancing from the north and south of France joined forces and continued their offensive to the German border, liberating almost the entire territory of France. When planning the amphibious operation, the Allied command used the experience gained in the Mediterranean Theater of operations during the landings in North Africa in November 1942, the landings in Sicily in July 1943 and the landings in Italy in September 1943 - which before the Normandy landings were the largest amphibious operations, the Allies also took into account the experience of some operations conducted The US Navy in the Pacific Theater of Operations. The operation was highly classified. In the spring of 1944, transport links with Ireland were even temporarily suspended for security reasons. All military personnel who received orders regarding the future operation were transferred to camps at the loading bases, where they were isolated, and they were forbidden to leave the base. The operation was preceded by a major operation to disinform the enemy about the time and place of the invasion of Allied troops in 1944 in Normandy (Operation Fortitude). The main Allied forces that took part in the operation were the armies of the United States, Great Britain, Canada and the French Resistance Movement. In May and early June 1944, Allied troops were concentrated mainly in the southern regions of England near the port cities. Just before the landing, the Allies transferred their troops to military bases located on the southern coast of England, the most important of which was Portsmouth. From 3 to 5 June, the troops of the first echelon of the invasion were loaded onto transport ships. On the night of June 5-6, the landing ships were concentrated in the English Channel before the amphibious landing. The landing points were mainly Normandy beaches, codenamed "Omaha", "Sord", "Juneau", "Gold" and "Utah". The invasion of Normandy began with a massive night parachute landing and glider landings, air attacks and shelling of German coastal positions by the fleet, and early in the morning on June 6, the amphibious landing from the sea began. The landing was carried out for several days, both during the day and at night. The Battle for Normandy lasted more than two months and consisted in the foundation, retention and expansion of coastal bridgeheads by Allied forces. It ended with the liberation of Paris and the fall of the Falaise Pocket at the end of August 1944.

The greatness of your work, I like your lego moves, are you the only one who did this, your work is good, continue your lego work so that you also become famous ..... nice work 😀👍
The smoothness of the animation is probably the best I have ever seen but maybe add like tiny details and it would be perfect. I wouldn’t really know since I’m not exactly an expert at stop motion lol but like maybe add like for the water little spurts of water splashing because of the bullets raining down on the Higgins Boats or something like that. Overall this is amazing
This was a really good animation the only thing that bugged me was the talking scenes were you swapped faces, I would have swapped multiple faces or none at all. Other than that it was one of the best I’ve ever seen.
there were no bunkers the beach was 300 yards long mg fire mostly missed it was mortars that killed most of the us guys the shingle was concrete not sand there were only 2 rows of x traps and on and on and on an
