Well, a tail for a animal is the extention of their spine. So a door slamming on their tail would be the same as someone slamming a hammer against the base of your back, which hurts like a BITCH

I'm american and I have to agree. he sounds the most like someone who just had a body part caught in a door slam. that stuff catches you off guard man, and it HURTS. I can only imagine how much it would hurt if you had a tail, it's basically an extension of the spine, with lots of nerves and stuff.
Is it bad that I physically flinched at this scene? A canine's most sensitive spot (besides the nose, obviously) are their tails. I guess the same could be said about any animal with a tail, though. Whenever I accidentally stepped on my dog's tail and she yelped, I felt so freaking bad that I just sat there and hugged her for five minutes straight. :( [RIP "China": 2008-2017]
I've been listening to the different dubs and even tho I'm not german I noticed that too. I like hearing the "H" sound while they're speaking. To me, I usually perceive this as rough and choppy but on this show it feels so light and breathy and soft.
Latin spanish legoshi say: I have to go *slam the door* HIIIA-AVE A GOOD DAY! *run away* The fact is he still talking nerviously even with his tail injured make him more adorable
While I'm certainly impressed with how well they managed to make the English Dub, I have to admit Legosi voice is the sweetest thing in German🇩🇪, it really suits his soft spoken personality 💗💗💜💜
Even coming back after awhile, Legoshi's damn tail never got a break...hell it nearly broke off with that slam too. Like I said before, no matter the language you can feel the damn pain just by that slam
personally i think all of them are pretty great!! the ones that stood out to me are the thai and german and portuguese (not brazilian, apparently) takes on legosi's voice. they're my favorite (aside from the eng & jp voices, ofc). the german one really stuck out to me the most; it's deep, but gentle and quiet, which imo fits legosi's personality a lot. i know other people prefer him to sound rough, but i think he should sound rougher in the later parts of the story.
I was rewinding the video to find the italian version because I thought I skipped past it and when I heard the italian scream I was like "Yup, that's definitely an italian scream"
The Latin Spanish is the best dub out of all of them (other than Japanese)the voices really fits the characters and they really did their best to show the emotion the characters makes through their voice to make it more convincing. I personally haven't seen a dub done so perfectly. It's a *chefs kiss.*

*Random comment about how every version except the Japanese one is terrible. Although I gotta admit the English dub sounds fine. Its understandable that the Japanese one is what your whole opinion about the other dubs is going to be based on but as some who speaks both languages fluently I can honestly say both sound natural. In fact the "unnatural" English dubs of a lot of Anime actually sounds/feels the same in the original Japanese. Anyways, I'm looking forward to rewatching the series in the English dub!
Justin B. I’m watching it 3 times. Japanese, English, then Latin America(to practice my Spanish). I watch the English and Japanese all the time and don’t understand the whole Japanese will be better than any language either.
@@MyselfandComics honestly it's the whole sub vs dub argument. If I can find it in a language I understand, great. I can fall asleep watching it on Netflix or something. If not, great. At least I can watch it
Tusskie Same here. If I don’t like the dub casting(I always hear it first by watching an episode), then I’ll switch to sub, but that’s really rare for me.
I know 3 languages, spanish, english, and french, and out of the three english is by far the best, its almost as good as the sub version in Japanese... its my favorite language to watch it in
